"My first visit was today Jan 10, 2026. The owner and staff were wonderful. Despite the cold weather I wanted iced tea. Was recommended the passion fruit iced tea-absolutely delicious. Also purchased the delicious maple chocolate covered pecans, empanadas and 2 bags of whole bean decaf coffee. Great place! Looking forward to my next visit."

"I have been to El Kolibri twice so far. I am leaving a 5 star review, how can that be so? Well I currently live in Wisconsin. I come through Cape because I have family in Bloomfield! The first time the summer of 2024, I came to El Kolibri and met sweet Brenda! We chatted for a couple minutes and it was so wonderful to get to know her, and hear about her life and family. Fast forward to this new year week! No coffee shops were open at 3:00pm so I went to El Kolibri. There she was sweet Brenda there to serve again! I was so shocked to see her. What a delight to see a familiar face. We chatted again and she remembered me! She was so attentive to my coffee desires and needs. She asked me how I liked it made and did it just that way. It was very good and just what I needed for our trip back to Wisconsin. I look forward to visiting again and stopping by to see sweet Brenda."

"I stopped in here recently looking for a hot drink to warm me up. The atmosphere and service were so warm and welcoming I almost didn’t need it. The drink was delicious and Brenda was attentive enough to tweak the ratios so I go the sweetness level I liked best. She shared lots about the history of the store and was overall amazing. Will definitely be coming back!"
