"The wife and I are new to the area and she loves pasta. We decided to give it a go on a Saturday around 7pm. Made a reservation but didn't need to, bar had a few people but dining room was all ours! Food was tasty and service was nice as well. Great atmosphere in our opinions. Paid about $90 for the both of us with an app and a glass of wine for each of us."

"We came in from Wichita and absolutely loved the food. They were one short on the breadsticks. We asked for one and they wanted to charge for extras. We declined and finished our lunch. The service was alright and we may return someday."

"Sophia was our server and then she handed us over to Karly. Both were very professional and kind. We were there for happy hour and food. Stayed for a couple hours and tended to us the entire time. Karly answered all my questions and helped me make the best pasta. Gnocchi was exceptional! I’m picky about my vodka sauce and it tasted like it was a true vodka Rosa from scratch. Bruschetta was the best!! Only suggestion — Very disappointed in the calamari. It was super tough and tentacles were uneditable practically because of how hard they were. Sangrias, tiramisu, and bread 👌🏼"

"I went to cafe Verona for my birthday dinner. I called earlier in the week to make a reservation for 15. They had the perfect set up. They have bar seating, booths, then an upstairs for larger parties. The food was 12/10. I got the caprese salad and the chicken speidini both were the weekend specials. My biggest complaint is this is not on the permanent menu. It was the best pasta I’ve had in a LONG time. I would mark it as the second best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to. The drink were also 10/10 I got the lemonchello spritz and a mule with amaretto. We had an awesome meal that came out pricier than expected. I’m happy to pay good money for good food, just something I wish I had mentally prepared for more. The parking was easy there is street parking then a lot right next to the building as well. I love the square as you can walk everywhere. Go shopping or hit up some of the bars. I cannot wait to come back and try another meal. Everyone in my party enjoyed what they got and had clean plates!"

"This is a gem of a restaurant in downtown independence. Took an out of town guest here for a late dinner and we had very prompt and friendly service. Very nicely decorated, especially the artwork on the walls, and there's a beautiful patio area for outdoors dining. They allow pets on leashes in the patio dining area. I thought the calamari was decent, but the chicken spinach pecan salad was excellent."
