"I had driven by this place a couple times and decided to finally go thru the drive thru. I was encouraged to come in when I told them it was my first time coming by. I am so glad I did!! Lauren was quick to greet me when I came in and showed me around the self service tea bar and all the other great products they have including H2O!! I love that you can try any and all the teas you want! I feel in love with the coconut unsweetened and the apple pie was Devine! I ended up buying a coffee and the American Dirt, coffee to brew at home as well as a Tony's chocolate and a couple of chap sticks. I love this place and I was so excited to run and tell my tea loving family. If you like tea please go in. I want this place to thrive and continue in my community! "First visit to HTO today, and they nailed it. The staff was genuinely friendly, took the time to walk me through options, and talked me into trying a tea I normally wouldn’t order, which turned out to be a great call. Loved it. It also doesn’t hurt that the owner clearly cares about the Independence community and is excited to be here. Always good to see businesses that actually want to be part of the neighborhood, not just located in it. Glad they’re here. I’ll be back."

"I love tea! It was so fun trying all the different flavors, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Most flavors come sweetened or unsweetened, which is perfect since my husband has type 1 diabetes. They even have stevia so you can add! The store is clean, welcoming, and well-organized. We’ll definitely be returning customers!"

"I went inside with my 5 kids and the staff there was amazing those lovely ladies made the hot chocolate and my cinnamon honey coffee quickly. While we waited for our coffee one of the staff showed me and my kids how to make some fun tea combos. They all loved it! It was 26$ for 5 small white hot chocolates and my large cinnamon honey coffee +2 espresso shots. Very reasonable I think. The friendliness was 100% appreciated."

"We found HTeaO while at a softball tournament in Shawnee, OK a couple years ago and fell in love!!! We went there every day we were in town and once we went twice that day. When we got home we were craving HteaO and the closest we could find was in AR, so we would drive there to get some tea every so often. Then they opened the one in Raymore and we were so excited that we wouldn’t have to drive as far. Then a couple weeks ago I found out they opened this one and am even more excited because now we only have to drive a little over an hour to get our tea!!! And my daughter loves that they will mix her own concoction in a gallon for her! So you will see us about every week or so for our tea fix! Can’t miss us, we are the ones walking out with the 4 gallons in the cowboy box plus the cups for the drive home 🤣"
