What People Are Saying

from Google & Yelp

"This Barnes & Nobles cafe is run by Starbucks. I can no longer support Starbucks. I still drop by to study. The cafe is clean and orderly even though it caters to a wide array of the public, including homeless people. More than once, I have seen 1-2 (respectful & polite) homeless people sitting in the cafe without causing any disturbance. Thankfully, the cafe employees leave them alone and fellow cafe customers eat, drink, study, and read along side one another. This Barnes and Noble also has a public restroom. I know because I have to pee like a pregnant woman. It’s the only public restroom in the Plaza that one may enter without asking for prior authorization. A Godsend for people with my predicament. 🙏🏽"

"The baristas at this location are always a little rude and stand off-ish, but today almost mean. We asked for change in order to tip him and he said no which is understandable, however we put a 5 in the tip jar and took out 3 ones because of that and he acted like we were stealing. That was kind of besides the point tho, the customer service was lacking from the jump.. It's a shame because we really like sitting in here. I'm assuming they aren't getting paid enough but it's not a good enough excuse to be rude. This was about 2:30pm March 6th Edited to add, he didn't deserve a tip and wish I told him that."

"I asked the barista to make my drink with no ice. They were clearly irritated that I asked and then strained my drink of the ice and gave me a half drink."

"Why is their a Starbucks inside the Barnes & Noble if the employees won't wait on the customers? Went to Barnes and Nobles today, the employee completely ignored us, and would not take our order. There was no other customers in line or waiting. It was a guy about 30 with dark hair. Customer service is clearly not a priority with in the Starbucks establishment."

"It's just a Starbucks, but with some nice views of the surrounding area (the seats by the window were really cool)! Staff was very nice and they had some nice tea options. HOWEVER, there are no outlets that you can use! So, if you come here to work, your laptop better be charged... :("

"This is conveniently right next to Panara bread Company, and adjacent to American Girl. I find it interesting that Oak Park Mall placed a Barnes and Noble..."
