"This place is a gem and a Kansas City landmark. I have been eating here regularly for 15 years+ and it's never not absolutely destroyed my hunger. One of the most underrated and underappreciated spots in the KC area. If you aren't pulling up at least twice a month, get your life together. 5 stars."

"Do not dine in at this establishment. Literally anywhere else is a better option. Between the food itself, the horrendous service and disrespectful staff I have never experienced such terrible customer service. We were not provided with water, menus, or silverware and had to consistently ask to be helped. When we were finally helped, we waited for 2 hours for our food. Only after inquiring where the food was did the cold dishes emerge from the kitchen. When we asked to speak to the manager our waiter kicked a chair over. We were not compensated for our wait or the disrespect. I have never left a review but one was needed here. If I could give 0 stars, I would."

"Low key, no frills dining experience while eating in. We had the birria tacos and street tacos- beef. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was amazing! Street tacos were so tasty you didn't need the sauce- just the lime was fine. Mild salsa was very flavorful. I'll be back and will use the drive thru or carry out option. Price was acceptable for the food."
