"Stopped in for lunch and was not disappointed. The service was friendly and efficient, the food came oit promptly, and portion sizes were appropriate. We had the cheesy hushpuppies and the chicken nuggets to start. The hushpuppies were not my favorite (but my companion liked them). The chicken nuggets are tenders-sized. They have a great seasoned breading and come with some awesome sauces. We had the half platter of naked burnt ends with creamy slaw and onion rings along with the holy trinity (ribs, brisket, and burnt ends) with the JoJo potatoes and potato salad. The meats were smoked really well, the ribs were meaty, and nothing was too fatty or dry. The JoJo potatoes were crazy good...these are a must have. Everything was great! We will definitely be back sooner than later."

"There is tons of inside seating, covered patio and outside seating available. There’s a whole thing for kids to play on with corn hole and giant connect 4 and jenga. Plenty of veggie options. They are all clearly labeled. We tried the jackfruit sando, it was great. The sides were awesome. The bbq sauces were so good. I loved the sweet one. Excellent beer selection, good service. Very happy we stopped in."

"I grabbed these dishes to-go, and WOW! Char Bar absolutely delivered. The portions were huge, the flavors were even better, and the BBQ had that perfect balance of smokey and sweet with a mild heat that sneaks up on you in the best way. But the real game-changer? The fried pickle on top of the pulled pork and the mac-cheese. One bite and I was sold on the entire meal. Coming from the South, we’re notoriously picky about our BBQ, but Char Bar impressed me enough that I’ll be back on my next trip. If you’re debating trying it… stop debating and go. Your taste buds will thank you!"

"First time at this location, always been a fan of the Parkville location and of Meat Mitch in general. We got the massive meat sampler along with the chimichanga (I think that's what it was) and it was all amazing. Mac and Cheese was fantastic too. Our server was super friendly and attentive and the whole building has a great vibe. Lots of BBQ choices here in KC, but Char Bar is the one I always come back to. Oh and dessert was the perfect capper!"

"An amazing BBQ spot with excellent food, plenty of options, and reasonable prices! We were recommended this spot by a friend who had been before and had recommended the CBGB burger. While we decided on other options the BBQ did not disappoint. The burnt ends melt in your mouth literally and were so tasty. The fried pickle was surprisingly delicious. The ribs were also good. You really can't go wrong here. The onion rings were also fried perfectly. Service was excellent. Our server was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to give us a refill without suffocating us. The ambiance is casual. Great for family seating or a day out with the guys or gals. We highly recommend this place if you're in KC and with other bars just around the corner you can make a full night of it!"
