"City Diner is a real diner right near River Market and absolutely worth a trip. We were there for breakfast and the pancakes and French toast were both recommended. We didn't try the French toast but the pancakes were delicious, fluffy with a nice crispy rim. We had bacon and a sweet roll too and they were great as well. The decor was set up for Halloween with fun decorations and signs all around. And the fast, friendly, knowledgeable staff were dressed for the season as well. Yeah, reasonable price, good food, great service, and fun atmosphere makes City Diner an easy recommendation."

"Grabbed a grilled cheese, some hash browns, and a coffee for breakfast and everything was solid. The food came out fast and tasted fresh. The grilled cheese was toasted just right and the hash browns were golden. Coffee was hot and they kept it coming. I will definitely stop in again."
