"Great local place, with great coffee, served up by a great staff. In an environment increasingly dominated by the hegemony of a national brand, and a local bully (won’t name names, but it rhymes with boastery), it’s lovely to see a local-boy-done-good. As someone who knows his way around a coffee shop, I can say that Crows gets it right. It’s got the right Local Coffee Shop vibe. It offers just the right amount of pastries and breakfast burritos, and serves up an excellent brew to go along with them. And the staff is just about the nicest I’ve ever seen. The clientele is a great reflection of the Waldo neighborhood as well. All ages, LGBT-friendly, students, artists, sales people, walkers, bikers, parents with their little ones, readers, gamers, and nerds of all stripes… it’s a true melting pot, and they’re all welcome. What else can I say? It’s a great little coffee shop. And it would be tough to find any place in Waldo or Brookside that I’d rather spend a few hours of my life two or three times a week!"

"I'm a hard working, blue collar guy. My one vice is a cup of good coffee in a nice, quiet coffee shop. I like Crow's for their coffee, but often the ambiance is ruined by the local junkies, who are allowed to loiter, rant loudly, and take up the best seating. Today, I had just finished paying for my $5 coffee when a loud tweaking junkie walks in. The two baristas did backflips to cater to him, free coffee included. Not only that, I was served the bottom of the pot and he was offered freshly brewed coffee which was brought out to him once the brew completed. I realize that the liberal readers will have a field day with this review, but in my opinion this is enabling at its finest, not to mention a middle finger to responsible, law-abiding, hard-working customers. So... that's what passed for customer service at Crow's today (and other days)."

"A lovely little coffeehouse in the historic and charming Waldo neighborhood. Had a muffin and a latte, and I couldn't have enjoyed them more. Awesome patio seating as well as ample and comfortable accommodations inside. The staff was super friendly and helpful, I'm not a big coffee drinker, so I was a deer in the headlights over what to order. They got me taken care of though, and had me on my way to enjoying my day so quick. Honestly watching them work and how efficient they are is mesmerizing. If you love a good pastry and delicious cup of coffee, you can definitely find it here."
