What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"We stepped in on a cold Saturday afternoon and were immediately greeted with warm hospitality from the staff, heat from the wood oven, and the incredible smell of great food. We ordered the Jerusalem Dinner Feast, which begins with hummus, falafel, and stuffed grape leaves served with pita bread and two additional sides of your choice. For the second course, you get lamb, chicken, and kifta kabobs topped with gyro meat slices and a side of tzatziki sauce. You finish with either baklava or halva for dessert. We were able to split the sides half fries and half rice, and we both chose the soup and baklava. Believe me when I say this is more than enough food for three people. Both the Jerusalem tea and the Turkish coffee were excellent and very enjoyable. After truly feasting for over an hour, we still took home a huge amount of leftovers, including meat, rice, hummus, and plenty of pita. The hummus and falafel tasted incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious."
"Came in with a few friends back in July, we had a lunch here and have been thinking about it ever since! This was some of the best food we have ever had, definitely the best hummus, we were sat and served quickly and the staff couldn’t have been any nicer. And for my fellow vegetarians/ dietary restrictions people out there the staff actually know what is in the dishes! So they had the answers to all of our questions. Loved this restaurant and cannot wait to come back highly recommend!!"
"Overall, the food was tasty! I really enjoyed the lentil soup and pita – very yummy. The shawarma (Jerusalem style) was a little dry and didn’t quite satisfy me, but the Philly cheese gyro (I forgot the exact name) was amazing – juicy and so flavorful!"
"The staff were fast, attentive, genuine and very friendly. Absolutely delicious Mediterranean cuisine. The baklava was perfect, not dry, warmed with some fresh pistachios on top. The kabob and shawarma were very good, the hummus some of the best I've ever had and the tabouli was perfection. Loved everything about Jerusalem Cafe!"
"The staff is incredible, friendly, and attentive. The food is wonderful. My group had a variety to share and nobody was disappointed. We tried the hummus, falafels, gyros, lamb, beef, chicken, the lemon chicken, the lentil soup, oh and the salad did not let down either. Oh yeah and try the Jerusalem style on your sandwich. Yum. Definitely going back here on my next trip to KC."
"Great food, a little pricey but very crafted and upscale, with impeccable service, and cozy fancy date night ambiance"
