"I wasn’t blown away by this place, the portions are smaller and it is delicious. I liked that the tofu was just warm and the broccoli was cold and had a delicious dressing. I wish the menu had more vegan options and the portions were better for the price. A friend got build your own salad and there wasn’t a menu to help you build your own, you just needed to ‘know’ based on the ingredients on the other bowls what to get. Also the rice and quinoa are mixed together- if you have an allergy to rice or quinoa be mindful of that."

"My first visit to the Modern Market Eatery in Power and Light was a great experience. The location is convenient near the streetcar line with a well lit and safe entrance. Inside is bright, clean, and fresh. Ordering was easy. Even though the restaurant was not busy and there were many open tables, the food did take a little while to reach our table. I ordered the steak salad and really enjoyed it. Service was friendly and helpful. The restrooms were clean and had hot water. Overall, a solid first visit and I will return."

"Ordered through DoorDash so can’t speak on the physical restaurant but the food was incredible! We had the blackened mango bowl, Thai coconut chicken bowl, kids chicken plate and roasted veggies. Portions were satisfying and the flavors were amazing!"

"The food was wonderful. The Baja Blackened Chicken on the salad had great spice without being overpowering. The Bacon Jam Club was delicious and the meat was tender. The Berry Hibiscus Iced Tea was full of flavor and the perfect compliment to the food, especially the salad. The portion sizes are good and filling without being heavy. This was my first time ordering from here and it instantly became a favorite."
