"We went and visited on Sunday, Jan 18th 2026, and the cafe was both VERY clean and VERY well-equipped. You can tell the folks here care deeply for the cats they have, and the process of adopting little Rachel (Now "Inky") was very painless. As an aside, they also have a great collection of sodas, particularly in the realm of more unique brands, such as kiddie cocktails (mocktail sodas, I had the Strawberry Daiquiri flavor and it was great!), or the fun niche brands like Uncle Lester's Fixin's for flavors like Kitty Piddle (joke brand, but be warned, they tend to make a better gag gift than actual soda). All in all, Sugar Kittens gets a top notch review for all the hard work and love put into these kitties and their business, I plan on returning for visits more often, and need to make my way out to their Lees Summit location."

"We stopped by this week and thoroughly enjoyed our visit from start to finish. The manager, Tarynn, was very kind and welcoming. We spent close to an hour with the cats—the kids loved every minute and didn’t want to leave! We also tried a Ramane and a huge cookie, both of which were delicious. We will definitely be back!"

"Staff was very friendly and helpful. Environment was awesome, clean, and comfortable. I think we managed to find the cats' nap time, since most of them were sleeping when we got there around 1:30pm. So maybe try morning or later afternoon. The cats that were awake were super sweet and social. There were cat brushes and toys to use with all the kitties. We'll definitely be back."

"My four year old and I love coming here. For as many cats as there are, the facility smells clean and fresh. The staff is friendly and helpful and I wish I could take all the kitties home with me. There's a nice blend of playful kittens and sleepy, cuddly cats to suit any mood."
