There was no sense of holiday rush intruding on the experience—only warmth, welcome, and the reassuring smell of coffee taken seriously. The Americano and cappuccino were brilliantly brewed, opening with bright, fruit-forward notes that were clean rather than sharp, lively without tipping into acidity for its own sake. "We loved the unique menu & the concept of a discount for trivia of the day! The drink names & stories to go with them is what brought us to this coffee shop! The drinks however were not great unfortunately. The espresso in the coffee drinks were very acidic & gave us all tummy aches. The unsweetened iced tea was super cloudy & was visually off putting. We tried the affogato with vanilla ice cream, and both the hot and the iced versions of the outdoor latte. We also got an unsweetened iced tea. The baristas were nice enough, but all business & not overly friendly. Even after we mentioned it was our first time & asked for recommendations, we were given, a point to the menu and, “….. is a popular drink”. It was just fine. Not bad, not good, just fine service. I’m okay with just fine service as long as the food is worth coming back, and the drinks were not. The whole place had a dirty feel. It smelled musty & on the tinge of mildew/mold. With there being so many amazing coffee shops in the Springfield area, we will choose somewhere else next time."

"Pretty good coffee and the pastries were ok too. Really loved the service and the atmosphere. The event center in the back is very nice... great for hosting parties, etc. And they have different packages to provide pastries and more. The shop up front does need some serious deep cleaning (baseboards, lights, vents)... but overall not at bad experience. Would not be my first choice...but l will definitely stop back in."

It's healthy, delicious, and frozen. 🥤 Perfect for those warmer days, just don't forget to grab one of Big Momma's Coffee & Espresso Bar insulated cups to prevent melting plus keep your drinks hot or cold... It kept my Blaire's Brew frozen and cold for over 5 hours!! 😮 Can't forget their treats with their drinks, especially Big Momma's HUGE homemade muffins. "Unfortunately I did not get to try the food I ordered. There was a group of 8 of us who were going to have dinner and a meeting. We arrived at 5:15. Online states they are open until 8:00. One of the waitresses came over and told us they close at 6:00. We then had to cancel our orders and find a new place to quickly move our meeting to. When addressing that online states they already open until 8:00 they informed us they knew that and its been wrong for over 4 years online. So it appears they have zero desire to correct that. We didn't even get an apology not were we provided with receipts to show our orders had been refunded. Overall, I was not impressed with the situation."
