"The service and food were wonderful. My hubby had the fried chicken with mashed potatoes, corn, roll and a salad. I had the French dip with steak fries. Our waitress was very nice and made sure we were happy with our food and made sure we didn't run out of water. Our entire bill was around $22.00. While other restaurants seem to be raising their prices too high, City Cafe is not! New favorite eating place! 😋"

"I’m not sure why this location decided to change their classic name from Ziggies. Ziggies was one of my favorite breakfast restaurants to eat at in Springfield. I loved their French toast and breakfast potatoes. The prices were reasonable. The restaurant wasn’t busy. This location had a few Mexican Women working in the kitchen and bussing. As a Mexican American myself, this one of the rare occasions I saw Hispanic people in Springfield."
