The atmosphere was so comfortable and welcoming, I could have stayed all day. The owners were so kind and hospitable. I look forward to coming back and trying their massage services as well! "I shared a flight of lattes with my son at Grounded & Free, and it was SO good! This gem is located in an old house on 5th Street in St. Charles. The coffee shop is on the main floor, and they can serve it to you in a cozy, comfy multi-room lounge on the second floor. There is a clothing boutique in the back - lots of artistic, Boho style items. I hadn't planned to buy anything but I fell in love with a dress and a sweater. And, as if that's not enough, there is a beautiful spa on the lower level, staffed by a massage therapist. The owners were there - super nice people who were happy to recommend latte flavors and iced drinks. The Lotus flavor is a must try! Afterward my son and I both said it was the best place we have been in a long time, even though we're from different generations! He said all his 20-something friends would love it."

"I've had almost every coffee there is in the area, and I can say with absolute confidence that the latte I had at G&F today was the most delicious by a long shot. So rich, smooth, and just honestly perfection. Beautiful atmosphere too - I could have stayed all day reading and relaxing in the upstairs lounge area. They have to-go as well if you're in a hurry, which I will definitely be utilizing. Parking was a little confusing, but every other detail was impeccable. Can't wait to return."
