What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"This place is just okay. There’s a huge wait and they’re only two employees on the clock. Kudos to those two young men. They deserve a raise for being able to balance the counter and working the kitchen bc the food was pretty decent, all things considered. There are a few conventions in town this weekend and for them to be this understaffed is crazy. 20-30 minute wait for nuggets and fries."
"It's a cute concept. Unfortunately I feel it failed in its execution. I went on a busy Saturday and expected a bit of a wait to get my hummus plate and veggie wrap. I did not expect to wait 30 minutes, and I did not expect the pita bread and the wrap to both be fried! Who does that? The young man who took my order was very friendly and professional. Unfortunately other staff members were not wearing masks, despite a city mask mandate and Union Station's own policy. I was order 34 and listened as they called out 19...20...(etc.)...31...30...39...40... I went in just to see if I'd missed them calling my name, but no, it was really a 39 minute wait for two items that could be assembled with no cooking, if they hadn't insisted on frying all the breads. When my order finally came, I had to go back to the counter to request silverware. Luckily the young man who'd taken my order checked on me and I didn't have to wait through the line again. The outdoor seating was nice, with a view over the koi pond. Music was playing and there was a fire show at 1 pm. The experience was all right but the majority of my food went to waste after that long wait. Had hoped for fresher and better quality food that didn't take half an hour. Probably will not return."
"Never make reviews but I wanted this out there- The food was delicious but the staff member working the counter specifically, not the kitchen staff, was extremely rude. The kitchen staff member was very kind and helped us out while the counter staff ignored me and my family and didn’t put our meal ticket back to the kitchen. I understand mistakes happen, however upon approaching the counter after meal #40 was called and I was #33, I wanted just to check on the meal. She wouldn’t even look at me and the kitchen staff member had to come out from behind the grill, ask me what was ordered, apologized, and made it as fast he could."
"Took my 3 yo in on a quiet Tuesday around 2:15pm for a soft pretzel. 2 staff members in the kitchen and one at the counter led to a pretty fast turnaround. The $5 pretzel was probably otherwise standard but they warmed, buttered and salted it and the pretzel was surprisingly tasty. Less than 5 min wait time for our item. We sat outside though the inside was spacious and tidy. The experience was good."
"Came in on a Saturday, shortly after they opened at 11am. We ended up having lunch here because I was really impressed by the outstanding prices. I had not expected to find something so affordable in the mall. The staff was very friendly. My son and I were looking for a gooey butter cake and one of the employees hopped down to the restaurant downstairs to see if they had it, and came back to recommend it. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and a caesar salad. The sandwich was thoroughly saucy, freshly prepared, and was a generous piece of chicken too. Absolutely delicious - I downed it in no time. The caesar salad was considerable in size, with a package of Newmans Own dressing. Quite a few croutons. They had offered crispy chicken with the salad but it was a side for me. My son had the cheeseburger, which came with applesauce and a drink, and he said his cheeseburger was really good. The food came out pretty quickly and overall we were very pleased. I'd definitely return if I were back at Union Station."
"Food is good, employees are chill, and prices are decent. Yelp has the wrong hours because we went monday and they were open. We went twice on our trip food..."
