from Google"I'm in the process of moving my reviews over from Yelp. This was originally published 1/5/20: Great place to chill for an afternoon! I'm a big fan of a comfortable place to chill out and have a couple of beers with friends. That's exactly what this place offers...and more. Beer selection is a bit limited but I liked their color-coding on the menu board. I also liked the ability to have 3 of their 5-oz pours and then choose a beverage for a full pint. Their food service requires a bit of information to really understand. They have a very small kitchen but still make virtually everything they serve from scratch. An example? They don't buy breading mix for their fried foods, they make it in house. Who does that? Who (serving food at a bar) does that? Same story for all of the sauces and sides. House-made everything. Of note - one of my favorite people from Whole Foods in Town & Country is now working here as a chef. He has years of professional experience and taught me how to prepare numerous dishes without ruining them - no small feat. He knows his stuff and I can't wait to get back to try his food. My first order will include a burger. I don't know that I've ever had a 100% beef tenderloin burger before but I'm definitely getting one next time I visit Alpha Brewing."
"Alpha Brewing Company was a great experience. They have many craft beers and their own root beer and cream soda. I ordered the patty melt. It is cooked on Rye Bread and comes with two patties. No reservations required, you order at the bar and then seat yourself. We stayed and played cards after our meal and even tho we had stopped ordering food the bar tender still brought us waters and was attentive. They get all of their breads locally from the St Louis area. They make all of their own sauces. Very unique flavors all around. I highly recommend this place."
"What a find! I was searching for a brewery that had their own root beer (as a non-drinker) but with a good list of options on tap. Everyone left happy, and the service from Grace was A+++. We also got to meet Tassie, the brewcat!"
"Great little local brewery. Really liked the cranberry sour. Pretzel bites with beer Cheese dip was also very good. They fry the pretzels to make them nice and crunchy. Staff was very friendly and perfectly attentive. Famous St. Louis blues Man, Rich McDonough plays here the last Sunday of the month. Playing a great acoustic set."
"Slow Sunday evening. GREAT bartender. Dakota the bartender was amazing. Try the Squoosh vodka!"
