from Google & Yelp"Excellent local coffee shop with fantastic croissants, pastries, and cookies, too. Their chocolate chip cookie is the best, but don't miss the pistachio croissant. Plenty of seating inside and outside."
"Comet is one of my favs in town and their second location is amazing! Gorgeous, large space and wonderful coffee and pastries."
"Stellar customer service and beautiful space! I travel to St. Louis often and love trying various coffee shops. I ordered the featured espresso (Ethiopian), and hands down one of the best I’ve tried. Great for studying or connecting with friends and colleagues. They had many whole bean options at a good price, which I will go back and purchase for gifts."
"Comet Coffee is one of those places that just quietly does everything right.our neighborhood is SO LUCKY to have this place. Truly the best croissants in the city. The coffee cake and muffins are unreal, and the quiche is actually filling, not just a sad side option. You can taste the quality in everything. They use local milk and local flour for most of their pastries, which really shows. The space itself is beautiful. The owner designed and did the custom tile work, which gives it so much character. Also worth calling out that the cafe and bathrooms are fully ADA accessible, which is rare and really appreciated. The staff are consistently friendly and knowledgeable and clearly care about what they’re serving. Comet is also the only multi roaster shop in town, with coffees from all over the world. They even do free public cuppings every Saturday at their Oakland location, which feels like such a generous community offering. If you love great coffee, thoughtful details, and being treated well, this place is a gem."
"Loved my experience at Comet, service was fast, the matcha was delicious and served beautifully, and every pastry I’ve had is unreal! Really cozy and cute inside!"
"I love Comet! Their coffee is wonderful quality and tastes divine. They have a great assortment of baked items (their croissants look insane). The space..."
