What People Are Saying
from Google"I stopped in for happy hour after a stressful day at work, just looking to relax a bit. There were only four of us in the restaurant, but it took forever for anyone to take my order. The two servers and the hostess seemed more interested in chatting by the drink machine than checking on guests. My server was nice enough but clearly not into it, and she brought my check without asking if I wanted anything else. It felt like I was being rushed out. Not a terrible experience because my sushi was great this time, but definitely disappointing service. This place could be so much better with a little more attention to customers."
"It’s not very often you can say that your entire meal was flawless, but this place was absolutely flawless! You might look at the Chilean Sea Bass and think “I’m not paying $45 for that!” Your loss!! I have never tasted anything as good as that sea bass. It melts in your mouth! I would rank them even higher if it was possible! Also, try that purple haze sake. That’s the best flavored sake I’ve ever had!"
"Absolutely loved my experience at Drunken Fish Sushi in the Central West End, St. Louis! The sushi was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The ambiance is inviting and perfect for both casual dining and special occasions. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to providing excellent service. I highly recommend the dragon rolls and the sashimi platter—simply outstanding! A five-star spot that I will definitely return to."
"If you're looking for actual Japanese food this isn't the place to go. It's hard for gluten free people (several in my party) because almost everything has deep fried tempura in it. The rolls that we had were good, but the fish was just average. Service was good but the atmosphere (blasting upbeat music) wasn't what we were looking for at 11am in the morning."
"We have now order twice and both times the food was poor to extremely poor. Prior to this we have had great experiences here. However in the last few months its gone very very down hill. Just ordered the Starburst roll and it came very soggy, so soggy is fell apart before we got it . We also ordered the Thai noodles with extra meat. The extra meat was one piece of beef. I like spicy things, but this was so spicy you can not tasting anything. What is pictured and what came are two very different dishes. There is a whole lot of jalapeño and noodles and nothing else.. Both items are a complete waste of your money, so is add "extra". Our in-store experiences recently have gone about the same as the delivery. What happened to this place? I sware it was good.. key word being was"
