"Someone gave us an Ann and Allen Gooey Butter Cake they bought at Straub's. Being from St. Louis I am a big time lover of a good, good being the operative word since there are so many out there that just aren't. Well, this cake is the best, and I mean the best gooey butter cake I've ever had. I was not close to a Straub's yesterday, Christmas Eve Day, so I drove by Park Ave Coffee on Columbia where they had both the regular and tripple chocolate cakes since we were spending Xmas in Collinsville. Both were devoured even though many desserts were there. Everyone agreed. I will certainly be stopping at Straub's before we leave for Florida to take a few home. The service at the coffee shop was perfect and even talked with the owner, Dale, because I wanted to tell him how much I loved the cake. It's his mother's recipe. Great guy, but then, who wouldn't be when your giving compliments. ;)"

"If you’re making a delivery in a 53’ trailer, you’re going to find it a bit difficult. Not impossible but difficult. I suggest going to the Main Street and coming back around for driver side backing. And you have to jackknife in. Employees are very nice and patient. I didn’t try anything on the menu. My review is only in regards to making a delivery in a sleeper semi."
