What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"I absolutely LOVE Shaw's Coffee! I look forward to stopping in and trying the seasonal flavors every month or so. My only gripe, is that when I order the seasonal flavors, they all have sprinkles on them and I make sure to ask for no sprinkles, but somehow I always end up with them in my drink. It's not awful, but I just hate how the sprinkles fall to the bottom of my cup and get soggy and dye my drink! Other than that, the coffee tastes amazing. The flavor of the beans (that they roast themselves!) is so strong and the perfect cup. If you are a fan of sweet coffee, then make sure to ask for extra syrup, but if you like to taste your coffee with just a little sweetener, then this will be perfect for you. If I lived closer, this would be an everyday adventure!"
"What a lovely coffee shop! I am from Boston & have a pretty high standard for a good latte and ambience, but I was obsessed with this place. There was literal tiny trees inside and a super cool old bank safe room with a beautiful painting. They had some seating and big windows that let the light in excellently. Would recommend"
"What a cool coffee place! This shop has such a chill vibe with natural light coming off the yellow awning outside which makes this place perfect for studying, reading, or work. I got an iced strawberry matcha that was absolutely delicious. 10/10 recommend :)"
"I always seek out local coffee shops where they roast in house. Shaw’s was great coffee and they offer coffee flights if you’re into that. Extra plus is they serve coffee-for-here in real cups, not to-go cups. The vibe was lovely, great place to meet a friend or do some work. They also turned the old safety deposit room into a sitting area."
"I felt like the reviews really drew me in. They had good ambiance and rave about their bean variety and sourcing. They offered latte flights which is what made me come in and decide to try them, but I was thoroughly disappointed. I got the Vietnamese coffee, the pecan pie (part of the fall menu) and a pistachio and I’ve got to say they all tasted watery. When I got the flight you could see the syrup sitting on top of the drink and after thoroughly mixing them, I could only taste watery coffee. The Vietnamese coffee had the best flavor but was done poorly. For a place that claims to be true to coffee lovers and sourcing, the Vietnamese coffee should’ve been served properly… ie with a phin and done with a slow drip over the condensed milk. As someone who loves rich, bold, and dark roasts, this place felt like a complete miss. The ambiance was great and the place was packed… but I’ve got to say I wasn’t impressed at all with the actual coffee or bakery items. Sad because I’m so close to this shop, it would’ve been a great addition to my favorite coffee shops."
"My fiancé and I stopped by for a flight of winter drinks. It was delicious and our server, Lily, was great! She was super sweet, and she told us some of her..."
