"Yellowbelly is a fantastic restaurant we visited for our anniversary date night. They offer a nice Happy Hour until 6:30 PM. Hence, we got the beef fat fries, which were only $5 and came in a big portion. The taste was simply amazing. However, I would suggest adding a bit more sourness to the sauce in the scallops and pork belly dish to balance out the richness and sweetness of the dish. The price is a bit expensive, but it’s worth to give them a try!"

"Moving reviews over from Yelp. This wonderful evening took place on 9/25/18: It's been a few days since dining at Yellowbelly and I keep coming back to the same word when I think about the place: WOW! I dined with a group of friends - early dinner on a Friday evening. I was the first to arrive and managed to score a table for six without any difficulty...but it wasn't even 5pm yet when I walked into the place. By the time we left there was what looked to be a significant wait and I doubt that will change anytime soon. I could tell from the first bite that we had found one fantastic place! That first bite was one of their crab fritters. I was impressed by the fact they really tasted like crab and were full of large chunks of those delicious sea-dwelling Arthropods. They were served somewhere between scalding hot and warm so as to be enjoyable without causing physical pain. I like that in an appetizer! Next up were the carrots. I like a roasted carrot but these were somehow a step above. They were served with chimichurri, a balsamic reduction and some hazelnuts. We make fresh multi-colored carrots at home. In my head, I always think they will turn out as delicious as the ones at Yellowbelly but that never happens. Yep...this dish is EXACTLY what I've been trying to make at home for years without success. Thanks for that, Yellowbelly. Entrees arrived in a reasonable amount of time but I was already getting full. I managed to pawn off almost half of my burger on an unsuspecting member of our group and still had about twice as much left as I thought I could eat. Somehow, I made it through it though. I'm not positive but the fact that it was freaking delicious may have had something to do with the amount of the burger I put away. There were bites of other people's dishes as well and my best bite of the night wasn't what I ordered. Instead, it was the avocado toast with sashimi-grade salmon. I really don't understand how they came up with that one but it was pure perfection. All of the tastes and sensations combined to make it the item that will pull me back there sooner rather than later. Also, what kind of culinary mad scientist was it that figured out how to mimic an egg yolk with mango and have it work with the other ingredients in this dish? Hat tip to you, kind sir/madam! Next time...I'm not messing around with an entree. Instead, I intend to get a selection of small plates. Why? Mainly because of the incredible range displayed. How exactly does a single kitchen manage to turn out a more than respectable burger that hits the table at the same time as an amazing plate of clams, that other-wordly salmon toast and a cooked salmon concoction? Range. Wow!"

"Incredible service, drinks, and meal. The bartenders were so fast and attentive. Lazy Tiger is officially one of my favorite margaritas. Just enough spice to feel it on your lips, but balanced. Don't sleep on the brussel sprouts or carrots. May sound sort of boring compared to the rest of the menu, but they were MVPs. Scallops were my main and they were perfectly cooked."

"WOW! An absolutely amazing experience at Yellowbelly. The drinks and food are superb, everything we tried was top notch. The cocktails menu is superb and we loved Yellowbelly, Tropical Old Fashioned and Lazy Tiger drinks. The food was super tasty, freshly prepared and wonderfully presented. Street corn taquitos, short rib, jerk chicken burger and spiced grouper were all fantastic. Update 10/2025: this place continues to impress and amaze! ****** The service was fantastic too. Our server was prompt, accommodated all our requests and made some great suggestions. A must try place when you’re in the area. I can’t wait to go back and try some more items of their menu."
