What People Are Saying
from Google"Disappointing experience at Cyrano’s Cafe to say the least. We hadn’t been to this place in like, 10 years minimum. So when we stepped in for lunch, we were hoping for the same stellar service and food from back in the day. Boy oh boy has this place changed. No longer is the charming ambiance, attentive staff and delicious offerings. Cyrano’s is now a place where you wait 30 minutes to get a refill for your drink, while you wait for your $20 burnt sandwich. We arrived at 3:00 and the hostess said, “Oh, our kitchen is behind. You should be able to order at 3:15 at the latest. Our server came, got us drinks, then disappeared into thin air. It took us asking multiple people where she was for her to reappear. We were finally able to order at 3:41. We should have just left. We ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Tenders for an appetizer. Those, I must admit, were seasoned pretty darn good. However, when our entrees arrived, at 4:02, they were burnt to a crisp. See photos below. Would I come back? An astounding: no. What has happened to this place? Who knew you could unintentionally have a two hour lunch because the staff don’t know what they’re doing…"
"We rented the private room at this café for a tea party themed bridal shower, and it was absolutely perfect! The space was beautiful, the food was delicious, and everything was very reasonably priced. Communication with the event manager, Kelsey, was quick and seamless; she made planning so easy. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. We truly couldn’t have found a better place to host our event!"
"Cyrano’s is not a bad option for food or drink, in fact the menu is impressive. The drinks feel like basic bar bistro options with some desert cocktails mixed in. With foods ranging from appetizers and shareable, full meals, and desserts. It’s been open a long time as I grew up down the street the menu hasn’t changed much. I went back to celebrate a happy hour for my mom’s birthday, we got drinks and the hummus plate. The food was good with veggies and pita bread but we didn’t try anything else off the menu food wise. Drinks we got two lemon drop martinis and a bottled beer, which took the longest. The bar tender hardly spoke to us and was hard to get ahold of. Otherwise it was fine and dandy"
"Great local place, part of the SugarFire / HiPointe family. Enjoyed the Shrimp Rav, Chicken Parm, Salmon plus the BLT. All wonderful!"
"Brunched at Cyrano’s with STL Ladies Brunch and it was fabulous from start to finish. 🥂 Drinks: The Empress 75 is my new obsession — a gorgeous lavender champagne cocktail that’s just as delicious as it is photogenic. Refreshing, light, and a little fancy in the best way. 🍳 Food: I had the Eggs Florentine — poached eggs, avocado, and spinach layered over a waffle (yes, a waffle!) with rich hollandaise. It was indulgent, satisfying, and came with perfectly crispy potatoes. Our table also loved the French toast and lattes, so you can’t go wrong here. ✨ Atmosphere: The vibe is warm, lively, and eclectic. Indoors feels cozy and buzzing with energy, while the patio is perfect for soaking up sunshine and sipping cocktails. Great for groups, brunch dates, or anytime you want food + vibes that deliver. 💡 Tip: Come hungry and don’t skip a cocktail — the presentation alone is worth it. Definitely adding Cyrano’s to my St. Louis brunch rotation. Follow me here (and on FB/IG/Yelp/Beli) for more local spots worth checking out."
