from Google"I visited One Thirty One on Lameuse today for my friend’s birthday brunch and was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was relaxing and beautifully decorated with a Mardi Gras theme. A live musician on stage playing the keyboard and singing added an inviting, laid-back vibe that really elevated the experience. I will most definitely be returning for Saturday morning brunch and highly encourage everyone to give this restaurant a try. Five stars across the board! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
"We had a great experience here! We had reservations on a Sunday, but we really didn't need them. Up the staircase we went to the dining room, and it is spacious and very beautiful. I loved the lamps on the tables. My friend got a Bloody Mary, which he let me sample. We both agreed it was one of the best we've ever had. We started with bacon wrapped duck, which was so delicious. My friend got the shrimp poboy, and it was overflowing with the biggest and tastiest shrimp. I got the shrimp and grits. The shrimp still had their tails on, which I am not a fan of since I don't eat them. But the dish was exemplary with great flavor. All in all a terrific meal with great service in a lovely space! Well worth the drive from New Orleans."
"We had a fantastic dining experience at One Thirty One Lameuse! We started with the Oyster Sampler Platter, which was phenomenal--featuring delicious Rockefeller, Parmesan, and a surprisingly great bacon Gouda preparation. My parents loved their Stuffed Flounder for an entree, while I enjoyed two excellent small plates: the creative Duck Poppers (bacon-wrapped duck with cream cheese and jalapeño) and perfectly cooked Crab Cakes. The drink menu was also a highlight; don't skip the Mimosa Flight with their house-made blueberry, strawberry, and blackberry mixers. Beyond the delicious food, the service was outstanding. Our waiter, David, was attentive and knowledgeable (and a great photographer), ensuring our meal flowed perfectly. If you're looking for creative dishes, high-quality seafood, and great service, we highly recommend this spot!"
"The service is fantastic, we went at a quiet time before rush. We tried the flounder, breakfast burger, and the chicken and waffles for our main. For the appetizers we had the duck poppers and spinach an artichoke dip. Everything was delicious and well seasoned. Definitely left with to go boxes! 😋 The server also made a mocktail for one of us who didn't drink so they felt included! Thanks a bunch"
"VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!🤢 After reading such great reviews my fiance chose this restaurant as the place to take me for my birthday. As soon as we arrived we were greeted and guided to the second level. The place is very beautiful and cozy. The waiter was nice. He shared that although not on the menu, oysters were available. We immediately ordered some and they were DELICIOUS. They were served with small slices of toast. The toast were more like crackers and would easily break apart. We ordered the seafood gumbo. It was served in a tiny (about 8 oz) cup. The gumbo was salty and the seafood in it, primarily the (2) crab claws seemed to be spoiled. We also ordered garlic butter crab claws. They spelled like ammonia and tasted AWFUL. I mentioned it to the waiter and he offered to replace them with the fried version. We declined fearing that those too could have been spoiled and did not want to risk possible food poisoning. Surprisingly, we were still billed for the crab claws anyway."
