"OUTSTANDING!! A great experience from start to finish. A must if you are in the area. Atmosphere: Fun and electric, a great beach vibe - good music, but no so loud you can't have a conversation. Service: Top notch. Stephen (Manager) runs a tight ship and the staff are attentive, but not overbearing. Lots of smiles, great food and drink recommendations. Food: Amazing!! It's not often we eat at the same place for lunch and dinner, but Shaggy's is exceptional. Amazing food, great menu with lots of choices, at reasonable prices. Would I come back? Absolutely - I'm in NOLA for work several times a year and I would make the 90 minute drive to eat here. "We sat on the heated porch on this chilly day and had a lovely ocean view. Ryan was just the right amount of attentive. The Beach Balls were crunchy and the cheese sauce and ranch dip were a nice touch but we really didn't taste much cheese or bacon. Wife had the Shrimp Trio and really enjoyed it. I liked my chicken Bahama Grill. Would definitely return ."

My wife ordered the Caribbean coconut shrimp and I ordered the captain's seafood platter from The Platters section. Both meals were phenomenal. The service was some of the best we've ever had. "Wonderful food, service, and atmosphere. We sat outside and enjoyed the view of the sunset. Our hostess, Meghan, was extremely welcoming and took drink orders right from the start. Our waiter, Zack was attentive, super friendly, and made sure to move heaters for us and another table since it was chilly. He even set us up with dessert from the restaurant for our anniversary, which we thought was above and beyond. The nachos with the nom nom sauce were so delicious and had fresh ingredients, which we greatly appreciated. Such a great evening and experience on the coast.
