What People Are Saying

"I’ve never eaten somewhere that made me feel like I was at the DMV. If you would like to eat here, my recommendation would be to not order any heated food. Despite being well staffed, the front counter seemed very unorganized. By its own nature, the restaurant is meant to be a quick service stop. However, this is far from the case. When I asked about my food, the lady asked to review my receipt, then never gave it back. I had to ask three times before seeing it again. Each time I asked for my receipt, I was met with an angry response from the woman that originally took it. Finally, my food came from the kitchen after 35 minutes. Simple turkey sandwiches. Other than the rude service, you can get decent pastries and coffee. Don’t expect much in the way of service beyond that. If I weren’t a local and was visiting the casino from out of town, I would be very put off by the experience. For not too much more you can have a nice, sit down brunch on the other side of the casino. That’s what I’ll be doing from now on."

"I live in Biloxi. I have been to the Beau several times but never eaten their. So, when my family from out of town said let's go to the Roasted Bean for Beignets for breakfast I was excited. The place is pricey which is expected inside of a casino. But you would also expect it to be good food. Or at least eatable. It is microwaved frozen food. Maybe a toaster oven is involved I don't know, but I can get better food for cheaper at a gas station. Back to the start of this experience. The customer service is terrible. We asked one of the workers if they had beignets because they were not on the menu. The worker just said yeah with attitude like us asking her a question was inconvenient for her. We all order and the microwaved food was bland. One of our sandwiches was still completely frozen in the middle and could not be eaten. My cousins frozen coffee tasted like pinesol and burned her throat. We all thought she was playing so we tried it and it really did taste like chemicals. The "Beignets" if that's what you want to call them were not even Beignets. If you are from the south you know a Beignets. They are not hollow. These were completely hollow with black specs on the inside like what? And some of them even tasted like Sausage for some reason like they were heated up too soon after some sausage was microwaved. The best thing about this place was when we got to leave."

"Firstly, the staff are great! My Chai was delicious. However, this is literally the most pathetic sandwich I've ever witnessed. My toddler could have put this sandwich together better for $9."

"We came here looking for beignets. Google sent us here saying they were amazing. We got there ordered a coffee, beignets and a breakfast sandwich. It was like $22 a person. That would have been fine if food was any good. The food was reheated freezer food and my friend's food wasn't even heated all the way. The 'beignets' were sopapillas passed off as beignets. Literally pockets of air, 3 for $7. Worst of all, my coffee tastes like cleanibg fluid and burned my throat. The staff also treated me like they couldn't wait for me to be gone and looked like they were miserable."

"I am from Texas but have family in Biloxi. We wanted Beignets so we found the Roasted Bean as a suggested option on Google. I ordered Beignets, A Ham and Swiss Croissant, and a plain hot Latte. My beignets were not beignets. I cannot stress enough that they were not beignets but sopapillas passed off as beignets and priced at a premium. In Texas I can get a basket of 7 or 8 sopapillas for the seven dollars I paid for three alleged "beignets." For anyone wondering what the difference is between the two; sopapillas are hollow and typically served with chocolate syrup or honey to be injected inside. Beignets are breadier and more substantial and typically served with powdered sugar dusted on top. These were sopapillas served with powdered sugar on top, thrown in a bag and thrusted dejectedly at us. Disappointing. What's more, they tasted like sausage patty which I can only assume was due to the fact that they were reheated in the same oven they cooked my friend's sandwich in. The last thing I will say about these "beignets" is that they had suspicious black specks in them. Weird. The ham and Swiss was frozen, never fresh. It was hot which is all the good that can be said about it. My latte was fine but I feel it should be stated their coffee is made from a machine where you press a button labeled Latte and it spits out of everything from one dispenser. Ikea charges 4 dollars for the same service they charge 7 dollars for. Don't waste your time."

"So happy that this place was available & conveniently located in the hotel AND they had cold brew, which was decently priced. The line can get long since..."
