"I had a fantastic lunch here with my sister. I like to try a few things when I plan to leave a review and they accommodated us wonderfully. Robin was very attentive and I loved her recommendations. She was kind and amenable, and I could tell she is very comfortable and experienced as a bartender and hostess. The atmosphere was cozy, with couches, pillows, and even a vintage piano livening the restaurant. We had the duck bites for an appetizer and they were excellent, with tender meat and jalapeños stuffed in for an extra kick. All wrapped in crisp bacon and covered in a tangy orange glaze. The crunch from the bacon was the perfect contrast against the tender duck meat. For my entree I had their blackberry grilled cheese. The flavors blended well, with the blackberry jam being surprisingly complementary with the savory grilled cheese. As a side it was accompanied by house made chips. They weren’t salty at all and instead were seasoned with garlic and parmesan. For dessert we had beignets, they were soft and fluffy with a bit of crunch on the outer edges. A wonderful capstone to our first meal. I highly recommend Downton Bistro to anyone looking for a cozy atmosphere and thoughtfully made food."

"I've been here a couple of times so far, and I've really enjoyed both times! The food has always been delicious, and so far the drinks. Whether you want a nice place for lunch, or something a bit funkier for late night, this is a great place. It's cozy and quaint, and has a great atmosphere. I've tried all of their appetizers and they haven't disappointed. I can't wait to come back!"

"Delicious!!! I've been wanting to try this new restaurant for some time now. So glad we made it there tonight. I met my husband and kids after work. Such great atmosphere!! Very relaxing, warm, and welcoming. The waitress was friendly and efficient. The drinks and food were fantastic. I will be recommending this place to all of my friends! Duck bites- delicious, with the perfect amount of kick! Au Gratin - creamy and perfect! The Bistro Pasta - my son loved it! The Cuban - my husband said it was one of the best he's had in a while! Chicken wrap - my daughter devoured it before saying a word - she said it was amazing! Grilled Cheese - this is no ordinary grilled cheese- had Gouda, blackberry jam, bacon, jalapeños - amazing with a nice kick!"

"The food and service were excellent!! The live music however was extremely loud and we unfortunately had to leave. We will definitely stop by next time we are in town as the place is really nice and the food was delicious!"

"Cool place to go. Bartender was also server on this rainy night. Great drinks. Calamari was quite bready. Spinach salad was awesome. Would love to come when they have live music. Grateful there were no cigar smokers tonight."
