The assortment of baked goods and pastries and quiche are delicious and beautiful too! And the shrimp linguine was absolutely scrumptious. I highly recommend adding this shop to your road trip itinerary -- or better yet -- go out of your way to pick up some of this yumminess! It's definitely worth it. "I honestly wasn’t going to write this review, but after talking with a friend I felt like it needed to be said. I’ve always loved Jody’s bakery and the treats they make, so I took my kids there last Saturday. While we were checking out, the older lady working asked what we had planned for the day. I told her we were going to the zoo and then to eat hibachi. Her response was, “I don’t eat that kong fooey food.” I was honestly shocked to hear something that came across as so dismissive and racially insensitive. Especially after having to wait for 5 minutes to be serviced! It made what is usually a positive, family-friendly experience really uncomfortable. I truly hope this is something that gets addressed, because customers shouldn’t have to hear comments like that."
