"This place is the real deal... outstanding food, great beer selection, friendly staff. A taste of the big easy in Hattiesburg. You gotta try the Corn + Crab Bisque with a hunk of bread. I'm told that with all the changes over the last few decades, this bar has stayed the same.... I love it"

"Grace was incredible from start to finish! My wife, our newborn, and I came in for dinner, and she made the whole experience amazing. Even though it was chilly outside, the heaters kept us perfectly comfortable and the atmosphere was great. My bourbons were spot-on, and the Zydeco chicken was cooked to perfection. Grace went out of her way to bring us multiple dressing options for our salads, and her attention to detail really made the night special. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience, we’ll definitely be back!"

"The burger and the crabmeat wontons were great! Service was awesome and atmosphere was amazing. 2-7 is happy hour so you can get $4 select cocktails. Overall, would recommend."

"I have been coming here at least once or twice a week for years. The past 5 or 6 times we have been the service has been some of the worst I’ve ever had, especially outside on the patio. Went last night for a friend’a birthday. We never received silverware or napkins the whole time we were there. I ate my Zydeco Chicken with the spoon that came with my side. My boyfriend waited 10 minutes at the bar to ask for silverware and by the time he got some, the whole table was finished with their food. My water was never refilled. We had a cake, our server never brought us plates or silverware to eat/cut the cake with. Not sure if they’re understaffed or what but very disappointed with the service lately. The drinks were great, as always, though."

"Great food and outside dining area, lots of beer taps only downside was finding it in a shopping mall out parcel with construction ongoing and three restaurants in the same building. Did not penalize for this as I assume the situation should resolve when construction is completed. There is also road noise as Hardy Street is directly behind the outside dining. Which will not resolve itself thus the four stars."
