"The best blue plate lunch in Jackson can be found at Lizzie's House on any given day! Currently a plate meal is $5.50 it comes with your choice of meat, 3 sides, and cornbread/roll. There is something for everyone. You can even get a veggie plate. My favorite is the baked chicken. It's delicious and seasoned to perfection. All fried items are cooked when ordered. The best part about eating lunch here is knowing that my purchase is going towards the Ministry of Lizzies House. It's a shelter for Women & Children. Advice: Always call your order in 30-40 minutes ahead of time. Do so before noon. This is a popular lunch place. Lizzie's is not a place for people without have patience. Some days you may get your order fast and some days it may take a while. I hope that you enjoy this little gem."

"1 star for the lady with the blond bob😡her attitude is pure trash!! I ordered 2 plates. One Pan trout and one Catfish. Instead of her telling me they were out of catfish when she found out, I had to hear her tell a guy coming through the door. I asked were they out and she said yeah, so I asked her have they dropped the pan trout yet and she said probably that's what we got!!. I had to count before I responded. I said the reason I asked was because I didn't want my food cold and you don't have to be so nasty with how you talk to people.. I made it there at 10: 25 they open at 10:30 I was second in line didn't get my food until something after 12 My food would have been good if it was hot. The guy in front of me gave her a tip and asked her to smile and take it easy. This is a ministry but there is nothing Christian about her nasty attitude with the public. She should not be the first face you see with an attitude like hers.. I've been coming here for a long time I will not be back."
