What People Are Saying
from Google"During the folk music festival, we had lunch here. Our order consisted of a shawarma plate and Turkish coffee. It was served in a timely manner. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Small seating area inside restaurant for guest. Large open space courtyard was also available for seating. The food was extremely authentic."
"Would you imagine we have an authentic Egyptian food and Turkish coffee in Mississippi with vegetarian food options!! Just tried Remos Cafe, a newly opened Egyptian food spot—and I'm so impressed! The owner runs this place while juggling a full-time job, and still manages to make everything from scratch with authentic, heartfelt recipes. I had the Koshari bowl (a must-try!)—flavorful, hearty, and so comforting. The vinegar sauce was so amazing and different from anything I have tried. Paired the bowl with Turkish coffee, which was bold, rich, and beautifully brewed. Also tried hummus there. I need to warn you that this hummus was so good that I can no longer enjoy store bought hummus. The owner has weekend specials with coffee, bowl and smoothies available through the week. I had coffee and then "chai latte" later which was quite close to Indian chai. The space itself is cozy and welcoming. They have a patio seating as well along with indoor seating arrangement. Support this incredible local effort—you can taste the passion in every bite! It is bit hidden right now, and the effort to find it was worth every bite of yum food."
"Please edit the hours on Google. I wanted to go here with my daughter on Sunday but it was closed. I didn't want to give a bad review and I understand it's a Sunday and most placed downtown are closed but Google says supposed to be open and did not see any hours of operation on the door"
