What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Went to Shipley Donuts this morning, it was a great experience! Went inside, got 12 donuts and 2 salted caramel frappes. The work atmosphere was really efficient, on another level of service that you usually see. Will definitely come again!"
"Visiting Ridgeland and decided to stop in. Got half a dozen donuts. Only 2 were consumed. The chocolate candy cane donuts were not fresh, a little dry but not horrendous. I bit into my blueberry cake donut, and couldn’t eat it. It tasted like it had been leftover from a few days ago. The employees were nice. But maybe better to go much earlier. Or ask for their hottest donut."
"I gave it this place 1 star because of the terrible customer service experience I had this morning. First, I ordered my food (green apple smoothie and two donuts) before I got to the window. Once I got to the window, the cashier asked me what I wanted as if they never took my order. RIDICULOUS. I had to repeat my order numerous times for her to get it right. Then, she tells me that they are out of green apple smoothie. I’m not sure why they didn’t tell me that when I initially ordered my food and BEFORE I got to the window. I had to change my drink to a frappe last minute. The cashier at the window then proceeded to overcharge me for the frappe. When I told her it was wrong, she tried to argue with me and state it wasn’t wrong. Now, I know I’m not the best at math but I knew that total wasn’t right. Eventually it clicked in her head that I was overcharged. She gave me “change” back but I still didn’t get the correct amount back. I was already irritated and people were waiting behind me so I just left. I will NOT come back!"
"⭐☆☆☆☆ – A Donut Shop Without Donuts (Or Dignity) Welcome to Shipley's, where dreams go to die and donut cravings go unanswered. I’ve visited this place more times than I care to admit, clinging to the faint hope that maybe today they'll have the actual donut I came for. Spoiler: they never do. Ask for a simple glazed? “We’re out.” Boston cream? “Didn’t make them today.” Jelly-filled? “They’re really popular, so we run out fast.” Translation: We don’t actually stock the things we claim to sell. It’s like playing the world’s worst slot machine — you keep pulling the lever, hoping for that frosted ring of happiness, and end up with a stale old-fashioned and a side of disappointment. Every. Single. Time. Let’s not forget the staff, who greet your polite inquiry with the enthusiasm of a DMV clerk on their third double shift. No apologies, no alternatives, just a bored shrug and a dead-eyed “We’re out.” It’s honestly impressive how consistently underwhelming this place is. The only thing more absent than the donuts is any sense of customer service or shame. Avoid this donut shop unless your kink is being let down before 9 a.m."
"The donuts I just bought were warm when I opened the box, but on the second bite I realized the bottom of the donut was as hard as a brick. The entire box was this way. Having warm donuts are always nice but I'd rather have soft donuts that haven't been sitting on a warmer all day. The girl was nice and did give me a refund hence the 2 stars instead of 1"
"Great donuts great service fast service I would definitely recommend you try them out"
