"Parking lot is a traffic nightmare and so was inside the store. Either it is seriously understaffed or poorly managed because everyone had an attitude. Got hit in the back of the leg by a box by someone stocking produce, got major negative vibes when requesting a store card to get their "discounts", and was sternly told I had to show my ID to get said card. I didn't realize I was in line with TSA at the airport lol. Everyone, customers and employees both, was having a seriously snippy time when I visited. Life is way too short for grouchy grocery stores."

"The breakfast, buffet is always delicious! The flower selecting is fresh and beautiful, I usually get a ready bouquet or build one and it's usually under $20. The grocery selection is good, I can almost always find the brand item I need."

"This is specifically about the pizza section which is especially good for a supermarket. You can always just grab a slice if you’ve got a hankering for one, oh and they have a pickle pizza which is pretty good if you like pickles (obviously), but their Greek pizza is damn good if you like them veggies :) The folks who work there are really nice as well!"

"I am a Regional Director for Western NC. I take goodies to my facilities that I visit. Since Helene, I try to buy local in each town in order to support the region. I was in Harris Teeter (Asheville) between the deli area and the bakery. I slipped and fell pretty hard. An employee and a shopper helped pick me up. Lots of employees witnessed this and asked if I was alright. I was stunned, shocked, embarrassed and was walking so I thought I was ok. When I stood up, I looked back to see what made me fall. There was something black in the floor and the employee stated he would get that mopped up. There were no signs of a wet floor. A witness came up to me and gave me their name and phone number. Later in the day, I was hurting on my right side. I called the Store Co-Manager Ryan and advised I was going to have my knee and hip looked at. He knew nothing about the fall but took all the details and forwarded to their insurance. The insurance people were not nice at all and Eric stated he looked at the video footage and he denied claim due to I mis-stepped? Yes i mis-stepped due to something in the floor and the employee and the witness both saw it. Needless to say I was not looking to get rich, I just wanted my doctor bills paid. When in a car wreck, insurance pays for you to be checked out. I will never patronage this store or any Harris Teeter store again in my life. They do not care about their customers."
