"Highly recommend getting reservations if you want to eat here, my friend and I managed to snag seats at the bar and I was so excited after seeing all the good reviews online. We got the bread service and honestly after eating the bread we both wish we would have gotten the pizzas instead of the noodles. Even though everything is handmade after eating the bread I could only imagine how good the pizza would taste. I ordered the agnolotti while my friend ordered the rigatoni. The rigatoni sauce was kinda spicy but enjoyable while I probably would not order the agnolotti again. It tasted alright just not the flavors I would really enjoy out of a pasta. The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect though and really would suggest it for being a place for a nicer dinner."

"Luminosa is a must visit if you’re in Asheville. The first thing we noticed was how unique the interior is given that it’s inside the flatiron building and we were lucky enough to be sat in the furthest away front room which felt private and cozy. Our server, Jamie, was so knowledgeable, passionate and fun; he really enhanced the whole experience. The food was stellar and their approach to sustainability and quality is evident even without their Green Michelin Star. We ordered the bone marrow tater tots, lemon pizza, rigatoni, baby carrots and chocolate torte. Everything was beyond excellent and the lemon pizza has ruined any future pizza for us. We will never be the same. I cannot recommend Luminosa more and ask for Jamie!"

"An absolutely delicious Italian place. Me and my wife ordered the Rigatoni, half chickem, carpaccio, and tiramisu and was absolutely blown away with it. Everything was cooked/baked to perfection. The Rigatoni was by far the best pasta dish I've ever tasted. If I'm ever in Asheville again I'll be making another reservation."

"I wish I could rate them higher than 5. We went for our anniversary dinner and it was beyond amazing. Every single staff interaction we had was great; they were all extremely kind and knowledgeable about the menu and everyone seemed to know it was our anniversary. It really made us feel special. I really can't express how wonderful they were as a group. Our waiter Alex, made sure everything was perfect. So as great as the staff was, the food somehow was even better. Everything coming out of the kitchen was delicious and everything on the plate popped. The gnocchi were light and fluffy and in the most delicious gorganzola cream sauce, it wasn't overpowering like a lot of sauces could be but accented the dish so perfectly. We had the coppa steak and lions mane mushroom for our mains and polenta and roasted turnips as our sides. I do not have enough positive adjectives to describe how delicious, decadent, and absolutely sublime it all was. Just do yourself a favor and book a reservation today. You will not be disappointed at all. I will add they snuck us a piece of tiramsu for desert and it was just as good as everything else. It was the best piece of tiramsu I have ever had the pleasure of eating. It was light and packed full of flavor. I think we would come back just for that dessert."

"My husband and I tried Luminosa for the first time tonight celebrating our anniversary and the New Year. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel special and well taken care of. They even left us a “Happy Anniversary” card signed by everyone on the table. The food was incredible; the gnocchi knocked my socks off and my husband had the rigatoni. And don’t sleep on the zeppole!! Sure, the cinnamon buns are huge and decadent, but the fresh, hot Italian doughnuts with the ricotta stole the show for us. Our server Jesse knew the perfect wines to pair with our dishes and was an absolute delight through the whole experience. And I will die on this hill - best espresso martinis in town. Fighting words, I know!! We will be returning for special occasions often. Thank you for making our big night out so special."
