What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Amazing service. They checked on us even though they do counter service. Food was great! It is obvious that they take pride in their cooking.Best donut I have ever had!"
"We've had breakfast twice while visiting in November. Bot times it was delicious. Surprisingly, it was the best pig in a blanket I've ever had that I've ordered on a whim. Coffee was good. The service is nice, the place has maybe 10 tables. They also have variety of international sweets and treats on a side. Overall great experience for tourists without the rush of the downtown.."
"Really great pastries and some tasty treats from around the world. I would love it if there was a cozier space to sip coffee — it’s all tables and no armchairs. Seems geared towards dining rather than coffee and pastries."
"I understand the concept of keeping food costs down. I do. But this business needs to understand that 'saving money' selling 2 and 3 day old baked goods means that customers won't appreciate dropping five bucks on stale pastry, and __won't come back__. If you saved a buck on ingredients, but lost all future business with a patron, have you really 'saved' money? I remember going to earlier versions of this business when there was always, always a line. It was hopping. The vibe was warm. The food was worth the splurge. You have to sell things worth buying if you want people to come back and spend money. It's that simple."
"Out of all the bakeries and small busniess on Haywood, this place is the BEST out of all of them! Their pastries are beautiful and very tasty. The bagels always taste fresh and their sandwiches are to DIE FOR! They are never soggy or taste bland like most places. The owners get all their ingredients fresh and everything is made from scratch. The staff was quick and really friendly, and always seem to be in good spirits. Anyone who put a 1 star review is 100% lying or do not know how to read the menu right."
"Feeling homesick for the holidays, this displaced Texan was thrilled to find kolaches when we stopped in after Christmas. They weren't quite what I grew up..."
