It’s such a treat to find a coffee shop that truly caters to gluten-free customers without sacrificing taste. I ordered an iced pumpkin latte made with real pumpkin, and it was perfectly balanced and full of flavor. The staff was so kind and welcoming, even though the place was packed — the line moved quickly, and everyone had a smile. "Mountain Grounds Coffee & Tea has a cozy atmosphere and a convenient location, but the drip coffee was not the best. It had a very strong, earthy flavor that just wasn’t to my taste. On the positive side, the ham and cheese croissant was absolutely delicious and easily the highlight of the visit. If you’re stopping by for a quick bite rather than just coffee, it’s worth checking out."
"We have been coming with our church group for about 10 years plus. The service is exceptional. The coffee is amazing and it's a stop we have to make on the way in and on the way out. They are so detailed with all the questions and the service is just the best! We drive all the way from Florida and talk about mountain grounds every year."
"This is a really nice coffee shop. I love art, so to see a hand painted wall was a nice treat for me. When it came time to order I honestly didn't know what to get. I enjoy asking what they recommend. It was nice to be asked questions like: Do you like sweets? Savory? and other questions to pinpoint on what to recommend. I ended up with a churro latte and a turkey everything beagle. Hubby got a burrito full of flavor, not sure where they got the flour tortilla, but it was really good it tasted home made. Everything was sooo good! Thank you, guys, for giving us a great experience."
"My husband and I are visiting from Asheville and love a good coffee shop. This coffee shop is wonderful. We came two mornings in a row. My latte was nice and foamy topped, the breakfast burritos are fat and filling, the croissants are flaky and buttery. My husband got a seasonal latte and he thinks it’s one of the best he has ever had. They have a baby changing table in the bathroom as well. Staff are friendly and vibes are good."
