from Google"I couldn’t be more over fast hotels with bad lighting. I wanted cozy and homey. Peri Social House delivered. Stunning decor. Gorgeous coffee shop and bar inside. If you’re a hotel guest, lattes and specialty coffee at the bar are on the house. That’s enough to make me come back, but the service was also exceptional. The owner made us feel so welcome and even let us switch rooms to the quieter side overlooking the courtyard, since our original room was on the main road side. The coffee shop is closed Tuesdays but the owner texted me that two free coffee drinks would be waiting for us at a local coffee shop. Like, what? That’s service. Free snacks and La Croix for guests in the upstairs foyer. Bed was ultra comfy. AC super cold and super quiet. Door in hallway does slam shut periodically, but they have ear plugs if you need them. This place is fab and we will be back!"
"Really nice ambiance and fun coffee combinations. Some of the cocktails also sounded amazing, but we just stopped in for coffee! If you have littles, there’s an awesome little play space out back for kiddos to run around in and get dirty."
"Just hosted a birthday party here and it was a great experience. Their team was super flexible and easy to communicate with. And they have a few different spaces you can use. They set up a really cute s’mores table too! A true charmer right in the heart of Black Mountain and the perfect vibe for fall."
"My fiancé and I booked a last-minute trip to visit family over Thanksgiving weekend, and it turned out to be the best decision we could’ve made. The hotel is beautiful—small, unique, and full of charm. They even had live music on Saturday, which made the atmosphere feel magical. Katherine and her staff are truly exceptional. They think of every little detail to make your stay as memorable and comfortable as possible. We absolutely loved our room, and Peri’s will definitely be our go-to place every time we return to Black Mountain. We’re already looking forward to booking again for the fall season next year!"
"This place is one of my favorite spots around Asheville. It has comfortable couches, tables, and a cozy outdoor fire area. The staff is friendly and clearly invested in making people feel comfortable. I don’t drink alcohol, and really appreciate how thoughtful they are about non-alcoholic options. They have great NA drinks in the cooler as well as a list of mocktails they can shake up. One of the bartenders doesn’t drink either and always has helpful mocktail suggestions. It really makes a huge difference feeling included instead of like an afterthought. I love coming here on dates, with friends and family, or just to unwind with a book. I’ll bring my laptop sometimes to get some work done. I’m so glad this place exists, it's a gem to have nearby."
