"I would give this place zero for good if I could. I don't normally write negative reviews I just eat the food and leave, but the doodle was not edible for my wife or I and I will eat anything. The apps were cold with no taste and the curry with chicken didn't have the texture of real chicken. The crispy noodle didn't not taste right and look bad. Never again."

"Have been to Akahana Asian Bistro in Charlotte, North Carolina a few times but finally writing my review. Really enjoy this place. The ambience is nothing to call home about but the sushi is solid and there is always great service. We ended up going on Valentine’s Day. We got there early and sat but by 8PM, the place was jammed. They have very reasonable wines and beers by the glass or bottle. I got a $30 bottle of Nobilo Sauvignon Blanc. It was great. Our server Miracle was very accommodating, friendly and swift. She answered all of our questions too! We ordered a bunch of stuff. I love that this place is buy one get one free. We started with the house salad with the ginger dressing because we were hungry but then got a ton of rolls and I also got a piece of tamago and shrimp sushi. We also got a side of spicy mayo, because why not. The rolls were very fresh and tasty. They really do a great job with them. We had so many including Crunchy roll Dragon roll Buffalo Deep sea Eliz Lotus Thangy river Earthquake They have so many rolls to choose from, it’s hard to pick. They also have tons of sashimi and nigiri and other Asian dishes as well. Will definitely go back again soon!"
