"I recently visited Coffee Republic and ordered a matcha latte with almond milk, vanilla, and lavender. Unfortunately, the drink was very bitter, even with the added flavors of vanilla and lavender. I asked the barista to add some sweetener, and she kindly did—after that, the taste improved slightly. I also noticed that the drink had a lot of matcha in it, to the point where there were visible matcha lumps floating in the latte. While I appreciate a strong matcha flavor, the texture and bitterness were overwhelming. On a positive note, the service was good and the staff were friendly. However, given the overall experience and the high price ($10 for a single drink), I don’t plan on returning."

"I had cappuccino and blueberry muffin. The cappuccino was perfect and I am a coffee snob. The muffin was nothing special, tasted like a supermarket muffin. Atmosphere is not great. Metal chairs and exposed sealing is not helping. In my opinion a great take out coffee place but nothing more."

"I usually never leave reviews, good or bad, but I am very impressed with this place. I’m a dedicated coffee drinker/ coffee shop connoisseur and I go all over for coffee. The staff here, especially the last few months, is super friendly, recognizes me and my coffee order and additionally the coffee is excellent. So decided to leave this review in hopes the staff gets praise for it.
