from Google"First, our server was very kind and timely, enjoyed her. The place was clean but darker than expected. Sadly, the drinks and food were terrible. The black satin espresso martini was one of the worst espresso martinis I’ve had. Their menu says that it’s suppose to be cold brew, coffee liqueur, vanilla vodka, vanilla cold foam, and mint. It tasted like low end brewed coffee you’d get at Waffle House (classic on the warmer too long burnt taste) and no flavor of vanilla or mint. It tasted watered down (maybe hot coffee poured over ice in the cocktail shaker?). And the cold foam on top appeared to be cool whip. It was served in a plastic coup glass. The spinach and artichoke dip itself was mid and the chips were extremely stale. The Margherita flatbread was fine. The mocktail was alright but lacked some flavor."
"I visited Dahlia’s for the first time - great atmosphere! Bartender was fantastic, it wasn’t terribly crowded tonight, and we enjoyed being out on the balcony/veranda, having a couple of glasses of wine, and enjoying the evening. We left, went downstairs, and called an Uber from in front of the elevator. One of the hosts/bouncers came in and told us that we needed to exit, we couldn’t wait by the elevator where it was much warmer than it was outside. I told him we just called an Uber and we were waiting inside because it was cold, and we were still told that we had to leave. I was fine, my date was cold. I’m quite unhappy being ushered out of an establishment that I enjoyed - up until that point. I likely won’t return. I don’t appreciate being treated that way after paying a premium for an average wine. Perhaps you prefer to cater to a younger crowd who doesn’t care how they’re treated. I do business in Charlotte, and though this was just a date tonight, I do often bring large groups for business/entertainment uptown. I won’t be bringing any groups to Dahlia’s. Thanks for the great experience inside, and the crystal clear reminder that you can’t judge a book by its cover."
"We visited Dahlia's by chance just walking by. We were so pleased to see that it had just opened for the night and we were first to arrive! Our bartender Rolando was definitely a vibe so much so that the next five hours would be spent here! We got a chance to chat with a few people there to include the owner who was very welcoming. We tried about four or five of their cocktails, my favorite was the Hollyhill Starburst but they were all very tasty. We did a BYOB charcuterie board and that was delicious also. This place is beautiful on the inside and an absolute vibe! We will definitely be back for the craft cocktails but definitely for the laughs and fellowship! They also have a live DJ that starts at 10pm on Friday nights. There is also a rooftop bar which was closed due to rain a cigar bar and they all look like a great time!"
"I went here before going to novelty and wanted to try it, We got there and there was a baby shower or something going on where is was taking up all the space by the bar which was fine the very nice bar tender said oh you can sit here but there was plates from food and empty drink glasses all over the bar. He apologized and said someone would get the dirty stuff. We sat down and order a sweet & sassy and a black satin, as we were sitting down i’m not sure if there was a incense that was in the restaurant or the party that was going on but made me feel nauseous. Drinks and staff were very good but vibes were off."
"Rolando was absolutely wonderful. He went above and beyond to take care of me and my husband Anthony. I greatly appreciate the excellent service Rolando provided. It’s rare to find such wonderful people now a days. Thank you again"
