We were greeted as soon as we pulled up and walked into a very relaxing ambiance! I decided to try the El Chingón which is a Sausage, "Egg" and Cheese Vegan Breakfast Sandwich. I substituted the Just Egg for the Tofu Scramble and I had the Sourdough bread instead of the Ciabatta! My brother just got regular eggs in his breakfast sandwich! 🙄 Overall he said he enjoyed it and would be back! "I’ve been a vegan for 26 years and am new to Charlotte. Tried this place for the first time today and I will be back. Loved the sandwich I got and there are so many options on the menu I look forward to trying. One critique would be no prices listed on the menu—this was incredibly weird. I had looked at prices online prior to visiting and my sandwich cost more than it was listed online. I still enjoyed the food but no prices listed? Seems shady and will turn a lot of folks off. Since there is a sign board in shop there’s really no excuses for this since changing prices could easily be modified without re-printing menus."

"don’t let the unassuming exterior of the building fool you! deli st is fire! i got the st julien (italian) sub and it was absolutely fabulous. this cute lil’ deli carries a thoughtful assortment of accoutrements that includes a variety of vegan/veg/local offerings, wine and beer, the staff was super sweet, and the food was fresh and delicious. shop local!"

"Great place to eat with lots of vegan options! Very friendly staff and the owner is so sweet. Vegan breakfast options are the best! They also sell tacos on weekend evenings and WOW. The traditional tacos I've been craving for years. I could eat 40 of them. Cindy is so nice and always makes us feel like family."
