"I’ve been to Folia twice before this visit. The first time, the atmosphere was nice and the food was good. The server seemed like she’d had a long day, but it wasn’t a big deal. The second visit was with the same server, and she seemed to be in a better mood. The coffee was good, and she let us know the establishment was closing early that day for an event, so food wouldn’t be available. She also gave me a loyalty card, which made me excited to return in the near future. On 01/14/25, my friend and I were in the area and decided to stop by again. As soon as we walked in, the man standing at the door greeted us with, “What are you doing here?” We responded that we’d like to be seated. He then stated that cocktail hour had just started and that outside drinks weren’t allowed, which was completely understandable. However, when he repeated, “So what are you doing here?” it made us feel unwelcome. At that point, we decided not to stay."

"Fyi - 3% credit card surcharge. I had a great time this morning- tried a coffee and the crunchadilla from the breakfast menu (9-11am only). The other seasonal coffee items sounded so enticing i think i'll come back just to try them all!! The crunchadilla was like a healthier, fluffier crunchwrap supreme and I'll recommend it to everyone honestly. Very very cute spot that i'd love to bring my friends to :^)"

"Such a cute spot in CLT. I can’t believe I’d never been before. I went on a Wednesday, which happened to be half-off wine, so my bottle was only fifteen dollars. The staff was so sweet, and the atmosphere was calm and inviting. I also loved that they had real flowers throughout the space. I asked about them and learned they have someone who specializes in plants come in to take care of everything, which made the plant lover in me so happy. I tried the trio dip, which was good, though I wish the chips were a bit fresher. The hand tuna roll was solid but nothing standout. The Birria Crunch-adilla, though, was amazing and something I’d definitely get again. I’ll be returning for another wine night soon, and the cocktails looked great."

"Folia was super chill and a good vibe. They had a live DJ, which immediately set the tone - music was on point, people were talking, just enjoying the moment. It felt social without being chaotic. I don’t really drink, but even sticking to non-alcoholic options, it was still easy to vibe out and have a good time with friends. Great spot if you’re looking for music, atmosphere, and a relaxed night out."

"We wanted to love this place. The decor, and location were spot on. Drinks were really good, and the food selection was just okay. Customer service was lackluster. Almost seemed like they were too busy hanging out and talking with each other at the end of the bar, rather than checking on our group to see that our drinks were empty. Not sure if we will go back to give it another shot."
