from Google"Stepping into Lidl Madeleine for the first time was like transporting in time back to my last trip to Korea. The interior and vibe are so similar to cafés I visited in Gangnam and around Seoul, making me nostalgic and homesick right away! The cozy vibes are inviting for quiet solitude, hanging out, or working, and I'll be bringing friends and family back with me. I've tried several of the coffee drinks and matchas and picked up fresh bakery items, all of which were excellent and delicious. The coffee and teas are great quality and actually taste good; the lattes are not too sweet and their flavors are yummy without overpowering the coffee or matcha flavor. I've also picked up a cake from here for a friend's bday and it was the best I've had in Charlotte. Can't recommend this adorable place more!"
"My sister and I stopped by Littl Madeleine and ended up trying the Cloud Matcha, Blue Cloud Matcha, the garlic bagel, and the Earl Grey and Matcha Madeleine — and WOW. I’m visiting my sister from Hawaii and we found this place completely by accident, but let me just say… this is some of the best ceremonial-grade matcha I’ve ever had, genuinely comparable to some of my favorites back home in Hawaii. The garlic bagel was so good I need the recipe immediately, and the flavors of the Madeleines were absolutely spot-on. Not only is everything beautifully presented, but the taste is even better. The lighting, atmosphere, and décor make the whole space so inviting — I seriously wish this place was closer to me because I’d be here all the time. The staff was incredibly nice as well, and the lady who took my order was so helpful and patient with all my questions. I’m really glad I was able to share this experience with my sister, and even happier that she now has her new go-to spot! Highly recommend."
"A cozy corner in Ballantyne that brings a Korean-style café vibe without trying too hard. The sandwiches lean simple in appearance but hit that comforting, satisfying flavor you want in a quick bite. The coffee is where they really play—experimental without being strange for the sake of it. I went for the Cloud Caramel Latte iced, even though fall weather was telling me to go warm. No regrets. The almond milk foam had that cloudy, velvety texture that sits on top instead of disappearing into the cup, and the caramel sweetness stayed balanced instead of syrup-heavy. Just a very, very nice drink. My wife has stopped by a couple of times just for their madeleines and always walked out happy, so that says something about their small-bite game too. It’s the kind of spot you keep in your loop when you want little nibbles, a light meet-up, or a slow hour with a creative coffee. A definite must-try if you’re in Ballantyne and want that calm café feel without losing flavor or personality."
"Stopped into Littl Madeleine on a quick 15-minute break while working in the Indian Land area (I am based in Atlanta). I ordered the strawberry cream cheesecake and a matcha oat latte-both were delicious and super refreshing. I have celiac disease and was particularly impressed by their many gluten-free options. The café is bright, clean, and inviting, and the service was top-notch. I really appreciated the gluten-free selection and all the thoughtful touches-wooden cutlery, cute coasters, pretty dishware, and the way everything is presented. You can tell they care about details. I will definitely be back soon."
"Adorable spot in the heart of Ballantyne! Tried a scone and a matcha latte, and both were so good I would order them again. Staff was welcoming, knowledgeably of dietary restrictions /ingredients, and was quick to complete the order. There is a hum of people meeting and spending time in the space, and it will make you want to stay a while. You can chat while seeing the beautiful baked goods being made!"
