"I dined at MICO Restaurant on New Year’s Eve, and unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to the price tag. The restaurant offered a prefix menu at $160 per person, and I felt the value was lacking. The appetizer board included very small portions: one bite of deviled egg, one breadstick, lobster bisque (which I couldn’t have due to dietary restrictions), and prosciutto and cheese, which I also couldn’t eat. This left me with limited options from the start. They did bring out a mushroom bite on some like Filo dough that was good and like a small bread muffin for each of us, but the portion was quite petite. The main course, veal, was good but not extraordinary. For dessert, I had the tiramisu, which was quite basic, and my friend’s tart lacked the zing I was hoping for. The highlight was the chocolate balls in the tiramisu. Our server, Ashley, was great, which was a positive note. Still, I felt that the high price was mainly due to it being New Year’s Eve, and overall, the experience didn’t quite justify the cost."

"I took my mom here for her 79th birthday. She doesn't really try new foods, so having Argentinian food was very out of the box for her. I convinced her to try it and she agreed to go (but pretty reluctantly, LOL). The atmosphere was gorgeous and our server, Maha, was so informative about all the different sauces, which ones sounded like they would be in my mom's wheelhouse, and which she'd recommend with the dinner choice my mom made. I was worried in the beginning bc she kept saying that the sweet plantains didn't look like sweet plantains (she's used to Filipino ones), but even though she kept questioning things, she kept eating things, so I was pretty sure we had a winner. We had the tuna amuse-bouche, the cheese bread (amazing), I had the lobster bisque, she did scallops with the lemon sauce, I did steak and a side of mushrooms, and we finished off with the peach bread pudding. Asian moms are not good with compliments, so at the end when she said, "The food is actually pretty good here," I knew she loved it. She even asked Maha if there was one in Chicago (that was a no, unfortunately, bc if there was, she'd have asked me to book her next birthday party there). The next day she said again how the plantains don't look like sweet plantains (all while gobbling down the leftover plantains). We went a week ago and she's been asking me daily if I posted a review yet (she normally does NOT review things unless she wants to complain about them), so you basically can consider this place spectacular. If they built one in Chicago, she'd be a regular. Also she wants me to let people know that Maha was a fantastic server. Ask for her when you go in, you won't be disappointed!"

"Had a great dining experience here, from the moment we were seated by Robin, the hostess. She was so pleasant while walking us to our table. She set the tone. Our server was Maha, and she was great from the start. She not only provided excellent customer service, but she went way above to make us feel special and important. She was busy, yet she took time to listen to us and take time to explain dishes and offer recommendations. She was very pleasant and made the evening even more 5 star for us. The chef prepared delicious and visually beautiful meals/sides. The menu has enough choices on it to find something everyone will eat. We will be back next year to celebrate our anniversary again."

"What a beautiful restaurant with an open kitchen. The detail in the decor is absolutely stunning! I ate here a few times while staying for a work trip. The bar team, Nilson made great cocktails and very friendly. The servers, Kallie, Mirtha, Ashley and Tanner took great care of me while I was there and made great recommendations. Christina their director has great taste in wine and I enjoyed flipping through their wine book. They offer a really cool high altitude Malbec wine flight which was very fitting for their “theme.” I thoroughly enjoyed the food for lunch and dinner. The pull apart Pan de queso was delicious, whole branzino and paella was all great. The chefs do a great job here and I look forward to coming back!"

"We had an absolutely phenomenal experience. Mirtha was a wonderful waitress and made the experience amazing. Seated right away with reservations, minimal wait for food, and the drinks were great with a large variety of wine to choose from. The roasted lamb was cooked perfectly and my husband loved the cowboy ribeye. We will be coming back frequently. Thank you for a great experience."
