from Google & Yelp"I was on the hunt for a good coffee spot when Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Co. popped up in my search. I decided to make the drive — about 30 minutes — and I’m glad I did. Getting there was a little tricky since Google Maps didn’t make the location very clear, so for anyone else looking: it’s on the opposite side of the Marriott (see picture). That should make it much easier to find. Once inside, everything clicked — great service, a beautiful space, and a really solid latte. I didn’t try any of the pastries this time, but they looked amazing and are definitely on my list for next visit. Worth the drive, and I’ll be back. Cheers, BN"
"I stopped in on a workday and instantly loved the space. There’s tons of seating, plenty of outlets, and the Wi-Fi actually works. Service was great, and everything I tried was delicious. The spinach pastry stole the show - honestly one of the best things I’ve had in a minute, and I’m definitely getting another next time. The café has a calm vibe with a little background noise, nothing distracting. Parking in the deck is free, and there’s security because of the Blue Line, so I felt safe even with their later hours - another huge perk. All around, just a great spot to work or unwind. I’ll absolutely be back."
"I ordered the iced strawberry matcha which I thought was seasonal but ended up being available :) The strawberry paired well with the matcha and wasn’t too sweet. I also had the rose milk cake and the marble loaf. The rose milk cake is pretty good in flavor and not overly sweet; you can also taste the rose flavor of the cake ! The marble loaf is also good if you really like chocolate like me. Just the overall vibe of the place was very comfy and aesthetic"
"My Yemeni friend recommended this café to me and I couldn't be more grateful. I tried the Iced Qamaria latte with oat milk and Sabaya. So delicious and such high quality that I bought some coffee grounds as gifts for family in town! Service was warm and excellent. Great space for working and hanging out; there's even a conference room. Seating is comfy with tons of outlets and the decor is beautiful! Nice lighting and music. Two gender-neutral, single-stall bathrooms that are accessible and accommodating for families and people with mobility aids. Can't wait to bring friends here!"
"I had been looking forward to trying this new pastry shop. The staff was very friendly, it's a VERY clean restaurant, and well decorated. However, I wasn't really impressed by the pastries, they were just okay to me. The garlic bread was good, the almond pastry was a little dry although it had some sort of light filling inside, the biscoff cheesecake needed more biscoff (maybe on top) to really catch the flavor it. The cold coffees and warm lattes were good, but not the best that I've had. Not sure if I'd return because I was expecting a wow factor for the desserts."
"Okay, this is my new spot! I've been here a few times over the past few months and they never disappoint. There's ample parking and lots of really good menu..."
