from Google"Went here on a Sunday when there was a home game 🙃 whoops! Very hard to find parking on this day. They have a small lot attached, but we ended up finding street parking. When we got in the building it was very crowded, lucky we had a reservation ready to go! Very popular spot and I can see why. The brunch was a classic, many vast offerings from sweet to savory. They had mimosas , Bloody Marys, etc. the coffee was also good - a huge plus. I got avocado toast with a poached egg on top, fruit and some sausage. My friend got grits and it was reportedly excellent! Our waitress was so sweet, she made us feel like friends and really made the experience feel way more personalized and caring. They were so busy, but food did not lag timing wise or lack with any flavor or taste. Overall, would definitely be back - but not on game day 😉 (I guess unless I’m going to the game)"
"We had the most amazing brunch at this fantastic spot near South End in Charlotte and it was the most amazing experience we’ve had in a long time. Our server was absolutely phenomenal—so sweet and super thorough when explaining all the different types of eggs Benedict, which were all incredible. I ordered the award-winning Bloody Mary and let me tell you, it was chef’s kiss perfect. But the real star for me was the bread pudding pancakes topped with a boozy sauce—by far the best pancakes I’ve ever had in my life. I’m definitely going back and can’t wait til next time!"
"This review is coming to you late, from April 2025: Ordered: Hot honey chicken and French toast, Vanilla Iced Coffee The french toast is made up of cinnamon sugar french toast bites, fried chicken has hot honey sauce drizzled overtop and strawberries as a garnish. The sauce is hardly spicy, but is very sweet and tasty so if you don't have a big threshold for spice tolerance, you may still enjoy it. The French toast is really buttery, but delicious. And the strawberries were fresh. Everything combined in this dish was a delight! The vanilla iced coffee was ordered by my whole table and we all loved it. Not too sweet at all. The restaurant doesn't have vanilla flavoring, they actually make their own vanilla milk to use in this drink, per my waitress. I feel horrible I don't remember my waitresses name- Shelby maybe? But she was awesome, so kind and knowledgeable, helpful and attentive. I only gave 4 stars for service because we were a very large group which had arrived earlier than another large group but the other group was seated before us without a reservation. Then when we were finally seated we had to be at separate tables, which was a bit disappointing to my manager since we were having a team building outing for work. It turned out okay though :) I would 100% come back here; I've been craving what I ordered last visit and would love to sit outside next time when the weather warms up a bit."
"We found this restaurant by Google searching the area from our hotel and it did not disappoint! While we waited, we ordered the CREAMY VANILLA SPICED LATTE… very delicious! The wait was about 1hour and 15 minutes for our party of 5 but our waitress TASHA made the wait worth while! Tasha introduced herself; which is always most important to us when we are patronizing a restaurant. Thank you Tasha for being a lovely and professional waitress! We ordered the founders favorite WHITE CHOCOLATE BREAD PUDDING PANCAKES, Berry Chantilly French Toast, Bananas Foster French Toast, and the Classic French Toast. Our side order of Chicken Sausage, scrambled eggs, grits and breakfast potatoes were also served warm with love. The atmosphere is a nice Nola urban, modern vibe for CLT and the patrons during our visit were young, single couples with iconic style. Decor is representative of the CLT vibe. This is a definitely a breakfast/brunch spot that will be on our TOP hit list when we travel to the Queen City!"
"I tried to visit this place on a Sunday morning and the wait was over two hours. I left, but I was determined to taste this place at some point. I decided to go on a Thursday morning and was able to sit at the bar. I opted for the shrimp and grits, French toast bites, and a side of bacon. I really just wanted to taste a little bit of everything. The service was great and the French toast bites were to die for. In all honesty, I've had better shrimp and grits, but it was still solid. Based on what I ordered, I don't think the wait should be over two hours, but it is Charlotte and it is the weekend. That being said, I'll probably return, but it will be more than likely be during the week."
