"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful New Year’s Eve experience at Goodyear House and truly enjoyed their prix fixe menu. The service was attentive and welcoming throughout the evening. For the first course, we had the marinated shrimp and the Goodyear salad. The shrimp was coated in chili oil and paired nicely with the cracker, while the salad was fresh and well balanced. For the second course, we chose the crispy rice balls with golden rice, country ham, romesco, and Parmesan, which had a great crispy texture. We also had the lobster fra diavolo, which was a standout dish. The lobster was flavorful and served in a spicy red marinara sauce, and the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. Our third course included the scallops à la plancha with turnips and greens. The scallops were cooked beautifully and paired well with the vegetables. We also had the pastured beef steak cooked medium with creamed collards and beef au jus. The steak was tender and full of flavor, and the creamed collards complemented it perfectly. For the table, we shared the garlic Parmesan shaken frites with truffle mayo, which were crispy, cheesy, and elevated by the truffle flavor. Dessert was a brownie sundae topped with brown butter caramel and waffle cone crumble, which was rich and delicious. Overall, this was a great $75 value for a thoughtfully prepared meal. Our favorite dishes were the lobster pasta and the steak. We’ll definitely be back for another New Year’s Eve dinner."

"Lets start with the staff. All super friendly. I will say our waitress kept saying sorry about things that it did not apply to. Heard her say it at tables near us also. Espresso Martini. They were underwhelming to say the least. I guess im a snob for real espresso not in my espresso martini . The holiday version we also tried was ehh. We ordered a whiskey sour and got a margarita 🤷‍♂️. The bag of fries was awesome! 🍟 The side salad was good also.🥗 The bucanti carbonara was great, although lacking in the guancile. The grilled bavette was good. The meat lacked flavor,sauce on it was good. Although I will say I think its overpriced, espically not coming with potatoes, veggies or something to pair it with. We saw the half chicken get delivered next to us and had big regret not getting it. The ice cream brownie dessert was not great. Don't waste the $$"

"The restaurant is beautifully decorated and clean. The menu is limited, but the food was enjoyable. The chorizo taquitos were very flavorful, and the shaken fry bag included a generous portion, enough for a group to share. Parking was challenging tho."

"We went for late brunch and the atmosphere was great, all the rustic decor and vibes was amazing. Food was okay kids did not like the pasta as it was too buttery and chicken tenders were hard for them. My husband had chicken burger and I had salmon with salad. I will go back again and try other items on the menu to see if I will like something else. Parking is street parking or just opposite to it is YMCA paid parking."

"To sum up our opinion on their vegetarian dishes, overpriced and underwhelming. The “cauliflower steak” for $20 was a THIN slice with several very burned pieces of cauliflower. We enjoy char, but some pieces were way overcooked and burned all the way through. The “Good Salad” was made with wilted browned lettuce and the dressing had almost no flavor. The bread (benne seed brioche) and fries were probably the only food items we’d order there again, if we ever went back. It is cutely decorated for Christmas and our server was great… unfortunately the food put a big damper on our experience."
