I went to this location, and after waiting for food (because they enerve annouced it was ready) I went and grabbed a latte that did not taste right. I had ordered this drink several times before at other locations so I knew exactly what it should taste like. After asking for it to be remade, the barista shared they would not know how to make it different, I asked for something different all together, she took back my drink that was done wrong and had me pay for the new drink. Needless to say - I was anted a coffee, so I paid , however , the service was appalling."
"Great espresso shot! More dark/chocolatey but with plenty of tastable notes versus a 2x4 to the back of the head.... Perfect for-here espresso demitasse cups. Plenty of nice seating options and super friendly, prompt service. Watched a parked train sit at the crossing for a good 15 minutes -- caveat visitor!"
"They clearly don’t check their online orders. Had to stand in line for 5 minutes just to find out they hadn’t even checked their iPad for my online order. Weren’t apologetic about it either. Spent a total of 20 mins here waiting when it should’ve been a quick in and out process. My Morning Sunshine sandwich also only had egg on one half of it. For a sandwich to cost $6.50 I’d expect it to have all of the ingredients on the entire sandwich."
"I've now gone here several times and each time has been worse then the time before. When asked for a recommendation, it was met by a scoff and rolled eyes. Unfortunately not everyone has the opportunity or privilege of having different coffee drinks so a menu can be intimidating if they don't know the difference between a latte and a cappuccino because they might have only ever had drip coffee. Another time I brought my mother who is a pescatarian which was said at the time of ordering and she asked for a bagel with avocado and an egg. This was done incorrectly twice. The first time it was brought out with bacon. And the second time it was just the wrong sandwich. But it's a real cute atmosphere. The staff seems uninterested in being there and annoyed at any customers. Thankfully they are in a neighborhood where there are other coffee shops where the employees at least seem happy/helpful, rather than miserable."
