What People Are Saying
from Google"Great spot, good vibes, excellent bartenders. Specifically Cameron and Donya behind the bar always serve up the magic and chill tunes. The sugar-free peaceful warrior is the best drink on the menu imo."
"Nice location for studying or doing some work. I didn't know what kava was, they were very nice explaining to the extend I was curious. There was no unsolicited suggestions/encouragement towards any drink they were serving which I appreciated. I ended up getting a non-kava unsweetened drink, asked for suggestions and was happy with my drink. I was there for couple of hours, drinking water from my bottle after my drink was finished, and I was not bothered once. Can't think of anything I didn't like, wasn't less welcoming than a nice library café."
"This was my first time to a kava bar but it will not be my last! I tried delta 9, kava, and kratom. In the future Id like to isolate my libations to one type per visit so that I can know which substance produces what feelings, but whatever the combo was, I loved it and felt fantastic. I had a great discussion with a random couple I met and got some goodies from the attached smoke shop. There are a ton of cool gifts there. I loved the multiple outdoor seating areas. All were very inviting. I really liked this spot and I'd be a regular if I lived in the area. Def visit!"
"Da Kine’s Kava is a welcoming spot where you can relax, unwind, and enjoy a chill atmosphere with great drinks. The staff make the experience even better, phoenix is always friendly and attentive, while Cameron brings great energy and keeps the vibe bussin and inviting. It’s the kind of place where you feel right at home."
"Be careful with Da Kine’s. Kava and Kratom are advertised as “safe” alternatives to alcohol, but are in fact quite addictive / habit-forming and can cause lasting damage to your dopaminergic system - a cursory Google Scholar search will reveal this. I cannot recommend this place in good conscience."
