What People Are Saying
from Google"Really enjoyed my vegetable stew and home made bread at Ninth Street Bakery! They have a large selection of loaves and baked goods to bring home too. The staff members were kind and open in order to help me to find what I wanted. They have a great outdoor patio space where you can enjoy some fresh air while you eat your food! I brought home the French Sourdough Loaf, the Stollen and Orange Almond Biscotti, and so far have been really enjoying all of them!"
"I ordered the hot roast beef sandwich. It was excellent. Perfect balance of meat peppers, cheese and siracha mayo. The roll it was in was also excellent. I wish this place was closer to my house. The side of coleslaw was refreshing and I was happy to find that they didn't add a bunch of sugar. I will be back!"
"FIVE-STARS! We love the high quality of Ninth Street Bakery products, especially the 7-Grain loaf, muffins, and more... Although we have visited their bakery and store in downtown Durham, most of the time we will pick up their products at the South Durham Farmers Market and Whole Foods in Raleigh."
"Ninth Street Bakery Durham gets the award for most unedible roast beef sandwich ever. The bread was almost fresh, the cheese rancid, and the meat one big hunk of fat and grizzle. This delightful conglomeration only will cost you $12 of your hard earned money. In other words their food sucks. Buyer beware. Oh yes, their bubka and breads are also award winning...lol"
"Full service bakery that just happens to make great sandwiches! I had the chicken curry salad on sourdough which had the right amount of curry flavor with just a little kick. Cole slaw that came with it was good, and the pickle spear had a nice crunch. I'll definitely return to try their other sandwiches, and maybe one of their soups as well!"
