from Google"Great place for a quiet reading session or work in your laptop. It has small and big tables where you can use your laptop also outlets if you run out of battery. The atmosphere feels like an old cozy fancy house made of wood with high ceilings. Vintage sofas and warm lights. They have a variety of beverages ice and hot. Also they sell alcohol like beer and wine. They also host several events. The patio area is very big, you can seat in the porch watching people on the street passing by or the backyard with a beautiful garden."
"Super tasty drinks! I’ve been here twice and ordered multiple drinks in one visit - all good quality and the staff are super nice. Ambience is also nice, interior and even side exterior garden. My top recs are the matcha latte with lavender syrup - delicious! Would come back here again and again"
"This is such a cool coffee shop. It's just a couple of blocks from Greensboro College and is so "aesthetic." The details of this historic house are what set this place apart. So many things are original from the historic, warped glass windows to the solid wood doors with key locks. The outdoor space is idyllic. I could imagine sitting out there watching live music being performed on the small stage. I also love their company values that include locally sourcing their products and paying their employees a livable wage ($15 an hour base pay.) Awesome place to grab a coffee and chill. Would definitely recommend it."
"Amazing coffee shop in an old 1906 home. Beautiful atmosphere and little touches. Plenty of place to sit from the large porch to loads on inside and outside spots."
"The subject of many a rave review, Borough Coffee had somehow eluded me until recently. Housed inside a historic former B&B, it wins points for offering a unique setting. Baristas are friendly and turn around orders quickly, and Borough uses quality locally roasted (Loom) beans as well. All of this should make it one of the best coffee shops in town, yet it didn't reach that level for me. I went with one of the seasonal offerings, a Butterscotch-Cinnamon Cortado. A cortado that costs as much as a seasonal latte elsewhere had better be something special, and this one wasn't. The coffee was decent, and the drink wasn't overly sweet, but it wasn't as smooth a sip as I was expecting. Maybe I would have had better luck with a different syrup (?). I definitely wouldn't rule out a return to Borough, but I'll approach next time with somewhat lowered expectations."
